I appreciate the attention you're giving me by keeping me in your thoughts lately, mundane, and I'm glad you're playing me if that's what you want. [Even if some of the mun's thoughts are weird or disturbing. . . .]

Nonetheless, I always wind up in some. . .interesting conversations with that boy, don't I. I don't particularly mind! But one way or another I make him cry much of the time. . . . Generally, I don't have such a problem with children! But I suppose if they're from a time long before I was born, it's understandable. . .right? Ah, and child nations that young are also complicated in general. . . .

But I'm happy I can help him, at least. Well, I certainly hope I can help somehow. Though, sometimes I wish we could just play together instead. . . .

I-in any case! If you'd like to continue playing me for now, please do so! It's nice to get some air. But don't forget to balance things out! You were doing well almost the entire week--there's a time for work and a time for play, so please remember your priorities.

Sleeping in a timely manner is one of them(even if, knowing you, you'd have simply lied in bed restlessly until about now if you'd gone to bed any earlier.) Now go!

Usually licking his face gets him to quiet down after a while, though I'd like to avoid making him cry to start with. . . !

[At that question, he tilts his head. Then lowers his ears a bit, the insides turned towards Germany, as though he would have trouble hearing him otherwise.]

Yes, they are. And they function, as well. [he used to get that question a lot.]

[Wags his tail a bit.] I assume you mean your, ah, mundane? Mine says thank you--she's rather fond of it, though I think it's rather silly.

There isn't much to be said, so I understand! [You sound and smell sort of like someone he really doesn't like, but without most of the bits he doesn't like. So he won't be rude. Or he'll try.]

[Resist, Arthur! Tails are delicate things! Brothers have to like each other. Even when they hate each other. it's a rule and a totally different fondness than others.]

King of. . .? Ah, I can't say that I am, no. I'm related to several Kingdoms(and former Kingdoms) but none of them are. . .the Kingdom of Hearts. [it's a cute name, though. Whoever they are, they're probably a lovely person. or he'd like to think they are.]

[Sighs and presses his paw(which is really more like a fluffy, somewhat padded, clawed hand than a real paw) to his head a bit.]

Aah, I met Greece from when he was a child, and. . . . [And he's blunt and awkward, even though he's a kid and he's good with those, and he keeps accidentally upsetting him for one reason or another.]

Greece... [he mentally consults his notes] mysterious nation with ancient ruins, likes sleeping and cats, dislikes Turkey. [every nation is mysterious] Perhaps he cries because you are not a cat.

[His tail is wagging. Can you tell you amused him?] No, no, it isn't that, surprisingly. We've had a few. . .fights? Not fights! .Arguments! And he spent a fair amount of time believing I disliked him and believing he should kill me. . .though we've gotten past that, for the most part. [but he still winds up upsetting him.]

[He's a bit of an animal sometimes, but he's still Germany. That's a bit difficult.]

Well, I suppose it's because you aren't. . .someone you look and smell somewhat like. Whom would otherwise agitate me. And it's nice to be out of my mundane's headspace to breathe a bit more. [And he's just generally a bit more cheerful than Germany. A bit.]

He's a child. That isn't to say he doesn't understand guilt, but. . .aaah, that isn't quite the problem, I think. [Shakes his head a bit] We simply conflict too often, or get into discussions that somehow wind up with him upset, such as the most recent one. But that's understandable. I don't know him so well, myself--I've studied his history, of course, but he and I, personally, aren't people who get along too well. [of course, you're him, he probably doesn't have to tell you that, but he doesn't usually talk to himself, so. . . . Though he gets along with the child better, but that's because he's a child.]

I suppose finding such similarities is good, somehow. It's good to know that some things don't change much. [You might notice that he's uh. Trying to smell you a bit more. Subtly. He can't help it, he relies on scent to tell counterparts apart. But maybe you won't. Don't mind him, he's an animal.]
