I'm more okay with the unspeakable evil that will try to destroy me psychologically and physically by manifesting in ways that break physics. Know why? Because he's not a pedophile.

Why can't you find me a pedo-free game instead? Or convince Obie's mun not to send him? He's creepy. I miss being chased through forests in the dead of night with a dead flashlight and no idea what country I'm in. Can we go back to that? Those days were so much simpler.

No. My Dad got film footage. And he looked into the foster families that had Skyler before we adopted him. There was enough evidence they believed him, and then when he went missing one night... well, I can only imagine between the drawings of Sky's I've been sending along to them and updates on his position they're really aware of things now.

It's nice to know I have a place to go when this is over.

Yeah. So, oddly enough I have both a safe haven in that there's this weird spirit in red that's popped up, seems to be keeping the Operator away from the town, and parents that don't think I'm insane. We make it back to there, we're in the clear. All I need to do is get my brother back first.

I don't know how long this red spirit thing is going to last but at the very least you do have your parents to support you when you get back.

No idea. But it'll give us at least some downtime to recover while we're there. If Alvis the magical slender doom magnet chases us there, we'll at least have breathing time and back up.

Things can change a lot in over eight years.

A lot of the adults in your situation aren't hopeful at all or are barely hopeful.

Then those adults fail. At everything. And if that's what being adult means, I hope I'm never mature.

I don't really think that's what being an adult is about but I think reality might be more flexible for a kid or something.

You accept that all this crap can happen and you don't get overwhelmed by it.
