It's not exactly 'ignore the man behind the curtain' but I don't appreciate all of this smoke and mirrors ridiculousness. I've got an extensive list of things you could be better getting on with than bothering me. Trust me, it's alphabetised. If you're going to play me then I have a few directives that have to be followed over that time. I'll send you a memorandum with it all, I doubt you'll get it all so quickly if we're just going to have a chat.

For that matter, find me some pups. The house is empty without the pitter-patter of newly mooned feet and the lovely noise of them destroying my family home. No really. I just love it when they wreck the beds. Do you have any idea how many beds we've been through in the past five years? It's in the five hundreds by now. Something about the first change just makes them rut like crazy. You don't even want to know about the amount of condoms we go though in a month. I'm sure that checkout girl thinks I run a house of ill repute.

To conclude, new pups to guide the right way and possibly a new bed fund. That's all.

They might not all be of my tribe but they're all children of Father Wolf. We look after our own.

That is I look after my own. I know exactly the confusion of the First Change with none there to assist or guide.

It seems that you've done rather impressively for yourself, in that case. We generally give your kind a wide berth so I can't say I know the details, but I imagine it's much the same for lupines, in that there are all kinds of rules you can break if you don't know they exist.

I caused myself trouble for a while yes. That's how I can guide pups from my own experiences. It took my longer than most to settle into a comfortable balance between my lives.

Some say that it's the blessing of Father Wolf and Luna being fully realised and needing to be celebrated. I think it's just the adrenaline rush afterwards.
