[Oh boy, is there going to be some kind of shit hitting the fan when Rick shows up in Somarium. Shane ain't gonna take that too well, especially given what he's been told by both Lori and Andrea. Killin' him? Yeah, not cool, brother. And leavin' Andrea behind? Again, not fuckin' cool, brother.]

[No joke, but then again talking to dead people seems to be Rick's new normal, so really not all that awkward for him.

No, you didn't. [And he's sorry, but he's not ready to say that. He's also certainly not going to say he wishes he could take it back, because it's better this way. It really is.] We spent the winter on the road. Lost the farm when a herd over ran us, not long after... [He wavers there briefly.] We were run down, but we've learned to work t'gether we do it well... The prison, was over run, but we took it back. We're safe there. [Mostly.] We lost Lori, gained Judith.

The prison... it could be great. It could be... a new start.

What prison you talkin' bout? The one down there near Newnan? [He shakes his head at the thought] Y'all made it a long way from that farm if that's the case.

[Shane chooses to ignore tree words in particular: We lost Lori. Didn't sit too well with him and he's sure there'll be plenty of time to talk about that in the future.]

A new start at what, Rick? Livin' in the middle of a nearly dead world? What's that gonna get you, huh? That ain't life, that's just survival, man. And a prison, hell, that ain't no better than Dale's RV or Hershel's farm 'cept for the fact that it's got a fence around it.

That's the one. [Rick nods.] We did. We were on the move all winter.

Yes. To start livin' and not just surviving. To get stronger, and eventually to start working on taking back the world. A little at a time. [His brow creases. Clearly, you aren't seeing the bigger picture here. The prison is a chance to start rebuilding. First, farming. Then maybe livestock, chickens... etc. Then little by little, like a snow ball.. Maybe not in his lifetime, but probably in Carl's. It will get better. This prison is the first step.] You're wrong. We can breathe here, for the first time in a long time, we can breathe...

Huh. [A brief pause] Whatever, man, you're gonna think that no matter what I have to say so I ain't even gonna try.

[And it's not worth it. Not right now, at least. He and Rick clearly don't see eye-to-eye anymore and that was obvious the moment Shane decided that barn needed to be broken into.]

But you said you're goin' somewhere else? Thought you said that prison was your new home.

Naw, see... The mun-lady wants to move me up to the prison, then take me from there to some game... She says Lori is there though...

She calls it a 'canon update'. I call it just fuckin' with my head.

Yeah? [A small laugh] Where's she takin' you now?

I'm already at a place called Haven, but I think Atlanta was safer. At least, in Atlanta you knew what to expect.

Now she wants to take me to some place called Somarium, or some thing. I don't even know anymore, I quit arguin'.

[Shaking his head in disbelief] You gotta be shittin' me, man... Come on, you seriously comin' to Somarium?

That seems to be the plan. Yes.
