They make it sound like the poor boy actually has a difficult concept. Depending on time, take an insecure child who can't even handle the meaning of his own feelings and make him the head of the Sumeragi. Or, take a young man and fill him with depression and the need for revenge.

It doesn't matter which. It's still amusing to me, all the same.

It's not even the right Subaru but you know. Seishirou is kind of irresistible.

[Perhaps for merely a few moments, there's…something else on the man's face, but it doesn't last. As much fun as it is to gather a reaction from Subaru, the boy's demeanor confirms what he's suspected. So, it's that persona he slips into.

Letting out a dramatic sigh, he lets go of Subaru and places his hand on his head.]

I suppose it's expected. After all, you're the head of the Sumeragi. I'm a Sakurazuka. Our families would never understand, even if it is romantic.

[Poor, naive Subaru. It's really no wonder Kamui keeps such a close eye on him. The look of confusion slowly falls, transforming instead into a smile.]

[Well, perhaps not completely his Subaru, but definitely similar enough in disposition to pass as his, which is good enough for him at the moment. He's all smiles right now, remembering how entertaining this had been before. But still, his words are enough to catch his attention.]

[You can't just switch out the Subaru's to please whichever mood you're in at the moment, Seishirou. It just doesn't work like that.]

It's a little complicated. You see, as Yuuko once said; Across the worlds, from time to time, there would be people who would be familiar to us, but who would have lived different lives and who would have different memories.

But that their soul was the same. So, while I am Subaru, I'm not the Subaru you've spent time with in the past.

[He smiles politely, softly, in a way that was entirely saved for those rare times when he had been with Seishirou alone without his brother's supervision.]

My desires? They're very few. Simply what allows me to function, a few…creature comforts, and some sort of distraction to break up the monotony, and I would be happy.

I think the many worlds that are out there can provide you with all of those. It just depends on where your mun decides to take you. If your mun knows you well enough, an appropriate place will be found that I'm sure you will find acceptable.
