This isn't a bandwagon, it's a cold front -- lol what am I doing. Possible spoilers.
You're thinking about this too much. Just kick back, have some fun--you know, what I'm good at. Don't worry, I'll help you with that part.
...and yeah, I'll get you snow for your birthday. Don't I always?

[...LASDFKJG GODDAMMIT NO HE WILL NOT PROCEED TO FLAIL LIKE A TURTLE ON ITS BACK, HE REFUSES--]
[except that attempts to use hands and feet as braces to stand back up is failing epically because omg why must ice be this slippery, it's not right and it's not fair--]
[okay he's just going to be. over here. turtle-flailing just a bit :T]
....adfj;ksdtst
[He... hadn't actually meant that to happen. Brb standing here staring while all that unfolds, because it happened just a little too fast for even him to react to it.
...and then cue laughter. He's trying to stifle it, because he's doing the new leaf thing, but that is just too funny.
When Tsuyukusa can't get up... it's the last straw. Jack jumps away, summoning a breeze to help him get up into a tree that's conveniently there, where he proceeds to laugh a lot.
...but he'll let the ice melt. Funny doesn't mean cruel, or at least his pranks are never cruel to him.]
WELL I NEVER SAID THIS GUY WAS A *DIGNIFIED* TREE I SUPPOSE 8'|
[you suck more than anything that has ever sucked before]
[BECAUSE HE CAN HEAR THAT LAUGHTER LOUD AND CLEAR TYVM]
[No really, screw you, this is a totally legit problem okay B|| Tsuyukusa's always asleep during deep winter, he pretty much never has to deal with this ice crap. Ice also now officially sucks in his book, almost moreso than the little brat that created it in this case.]
[And so he never stops struggling for the entirety of Jack's laughter fit, all the way up until the ice melts away on its own, at which point Tsuyukusa's almost startled to find solid ground he can brace his limbs on again.]
[ROLLS TO FEET IN A WHIRL OF DISHEVELED ROBES AND UTMOST INDIGNATION]
You little bastard! I'll kill you for that!
[ANGRILY PULLS A TWIG OUT OF HIS SLEEVE]
[MORPHS TWIG INTO A FULL-BLOWN RINGED STAFF]
[STALKS ALL THE WAY TO THE FOOT OF YOUR TREE]
[DEATH GLARE]
What the hell was that for, huh?! Figured you'd make a fool out of me?!
rofl, so he really is a tree then >_>
Hey, I wasn't actually trying to make you fall. If you hadn't stepped backwards...
[And it looks like this guy has some powers too. Interesting... Jack's not worried for the moment, but he is watching that staff. Who knows what this guy can do with it.]
You have to admit, you're the one who demanded I show you what I can do. Not my fault if you're clumsy.
lsdf p. much, yes |D he's more tree than anything else, anyway. hence this BEAUTIFUL INTERACTION
[...Huff. NO HE'S NOT GOING TO ADMIT THAT HE ASKED FOR IT AT ALL
because they both know it's true anyway. So let's change tacts instead, this is clearly an awesome idea.]How long are you gonna stay in that tree? Do you really think you can stay away from me up there? You couldn't climb nearly fast enough if you tried. I should just go up there after you right now. [GLAAARE...and then another, smaller huff, and a glance around at the surrounding air. He'd been so worked up he hadn't noticed until now, but...oh ugh, he can almost see his breath pluming.] And stop doing...whatever it is you're doing, will you? With the air. It's too goddamn cold!
[Wow Tsuyukusa it only dropped twenty stop being such a plant...]
/giggles
He shifts position with a little hop, sitting on the branch with one leg tucked under him and the other one dangling, his staff planted against the tree limb as he leans on his other hand.]
Welllll, let's see... give up my head start so you can chase me around and try to kill me? No thanks. [As with most pranksters, he knows when to run away.] And I really doubt you could catch me if you tried. [Fast as the wind
if only because she likes him, and not shy about bragging about that.He waves a hand.]
I stopped doing it ages ago. You'll have to wait for the air to warm up on its own--I make things cold, not warm.

[Though he does still sniff a bit at that last part.]
What, so it's only a one-way power? That sounds inconvenient.
[Meh, he's already getting tired of talking up at you from the base of a tree, neck-craning takes such work. You may be fast as the wind, Jack, but Tsuyukusa isn't too shabby in the speed department himself. No demon is.]
[So, quickly enough to maybe catch you off-guard, Tsuyukusa straightens and makes a sizable leap, planting a tabi-clad foot on the trunk and pushing off and up, landing neatly at the base of a limb directly in front of Jack's. CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME AGILITY AWWYEAH.
He may be hopelessly clumsy on ice but he is boss with trees tyvm.][Staff jangling away, he nonchalantly takes a few steps and then settles idly into the crook of the branch, one foot dangling much the way Jack's is in an almost mocking sort of way. Nothing too hostile here yet, at least; for now he settles with merely peering critically at the latter, a solid scowl in place.]
[You look just as unremarkable up close as you do at a distance, bro. HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND.]
Honestly, the way you talk, some people would figure you're setting yourself up as the god of winter or something. [:T] With a power like that, why are you even around?

[And the leap does catch him off-guard, be proud. It's partially that it really is fast and partially that he's sitting in a terrible position for a fast getaway, but he's stuck trying not to lose his balance while the tree/demon/whatever lands in the tree nearby him. Sure, he could jump off and let the wind carry him, but the suddenness of it was enough to set off his don't-want-to-fall instincts. Yeah, he still has those... the wind can't always be there to catch him, okay.
...but since it seems like the green-haired guy is just here to chat, he relaxes again.]
Heh, I'm not a god. [He only recently figured out why the moon made him this way... he still doesn't really know exactly what he is. Not that he's thought about that one much. He knows what he can do, and what he wants to do; it's enough.] Just 'cause I can make it snow... anyway, I'm here to have a little fun, and I guess because my mun wants me to be. But mostly fun.
Iiii'm guessing you're not someone who enjoys playing in the snow.
[Whining about a little temperature drop, honestly. This isn't even cold for crying out loud.]

[Tsuyukusa will take that surprise and cherish it forever. Rhetorically speaking, of course. Jack's temporary alarm is vaguely satisfying, anyway--it doesn't make up for the embarrassment of being such a sucker on ice in the least, but it's a small start. In fact, he'd been half-expecting Jack to make good on that self-preservation stint and move away. But the latter doesn't, and it's far easier to talk like this anyway, and the fact that they're chilling in a tree doesn't hurt things any.]
[BUT IT'S STILL KINDA COLD and he's going to be over here laying his staff in his lap and folding his arms in his funky robe sleeves, whilst keeping perfectly balanced on his branch without hand support.]
[And tilt his head and add a dubious curve to his scowl, of course. WHAT IS THIS FUN YOU SPEAK OF, IT SOUNDS MILDLY RETARDED B|a]
Playing in the snow? Of course not! I'm not exactly an evergreen or something. That crap's too cold to be awake for, let alone wander around in...
What, are you telling me there are people that actually think it's fun?
