You writers truly are horrible beings, aren’t you? Struggling with yourself to determine how much I should remember from my past, should you ever send me somewhere. May you have protection from the Virgin Mary’s wrath for even contemplating such horrors.

 

What is it that you expect, my dear writer? That displaying me as this may catch my Romeo’s attention and bring him forth? That he may appear from the woodwork, from the shadows, and come to my rescue? I am not some damsel to be rescued and you do me a great disservice by treating me as such.

 

It would do you well to remedy this soon. I refuse to recite any of your silly poetry, nor will I play along with this childish game.

My lady, writers have a tend to do things like this. It's as if they want our friends to see us in situations such as these. At least though, it seems that yours has not found a place to send you yet?

I do hope she is a religious woman, for she will need to be if she ever decides to "send me" some place.

I care not if they have a sick amusement in showing our friends and enemies how we are in situations as this. It is deplorable, toying with us as though we are mere playthings.

You do realize that if she does get this idea, you will be going along with it. Although you may be fighting tooth and nail the entire way, it will happen.

Continue to yell and scream then, all it will do is provide further amusement. They are hardly content to leave us alone.

I will not make it pleasant for her, you can be assured of that.

And tell me, oh wise one, shall I just make myself content with whatever she may plan? To be used as a pawn in her stories, as a woman from my time is expected?

Oh no, I just wanted to give you a fair warning that our continued fighting is another source of amusement. It isn't good to go without a fight~

While your concern is appreciated, Messer, the delivery could be worked on in the future.

She will become bored of the fight soon enough and return to a far more pleasant pawn to annoy.

So you believe. Mine was very persistent when she sent me to where I am. She wouldn't hear any sort of counter argument.

I have complete faith that she will listen to reason. I'm only sorry that yours did not.

I've never been clear on this, but what does the Blessed Virgin do when she becomes enraged?

Far be it for me to make any assumptions about the Holy Mother. However, I can be assured that she would not care for any interference in her divine plan.

I am not bold enough to say that I know Her entire plan for me. I must avenge my family's murder, however. She kept me alive for a reason, and that reason must be to find their murderer and bring him to justice.

I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure you've heard that often enough that the words are meaningless by now, but I do hope that you find the one responsible.

As meaningless as they are, they still provide small comfort. I thank you.

I am aware of the one who was responsible... I only need the right moment and means to exact my revenge.

Is there a chance this person will be wherever your mundane sends you?

The both of us highly doubt that possibility. Nor will the only one I could ever give my heart to. It is because of these that I am fighting her, to the best of my ability, since she is already so wary of sending me anywhere.

The way that I got out of it was by sending her to a different source of entertainment. Eventually, she found someone more flexible than I am.

And now I prowl around here every blue moon or so. Really, it's a tried and true method, fraulein.

She has many more willing pawns to play with.... I do believe, more or less, that she hoped a familiar face would present itself if I showed mine first...

Perhaps she will just let me keep a keen eye here and there, in the case that one should appear.
