I'm not sure what you're planning, but whatever it is - I hope you know what you'll be getting us into. Rushing head first into something out of excitement or whatever other emotion it is going through your head isn't going to do either one of us any good. We both know how important it is to make logical decisions, not emotional ones.
I know why you're looking at some of these places more than the others. If I get any say in this at all, it's that I'll go wherever you need me to go, just not at his expense. I take care of my own - just like he does. Sending me to a place where my arrival could do more harm than good to one of them isn't a chance I want to take.

Although I would welcome someone who could be such a weak point for others, especially Chris. It has been too long since I've found a way to make he or Sheva back away from threatening me.

If they're empty threats, it wouldn't matter to you one way or the other whether or not they back away from making them. [ And he won't let you harm the Captain, sir. Not as long as he's still breathing. ] I can't say I blame you for being worried about what the Captain is capable of.

[A thin smile rises, dark glasses and face reflecting little else.]
Won't you be an interesting addition to their little group. I've been lacking a challenge here beyond their idle words.
[A small laugh follows, more noisy exhale than amusement.]
I know better than anyone what Chris Redfield is capable of. More importantly, I know what he is not.

Wesker's words mean little to him, at least at first. But at the mention of Chris, his jaw tightens and it takes a distinct measure of control to keep his fingers from curling or his body from moving from its spot. ]
You know what Chris Redfield was capable of. [ Because Chris isn't the same now. Similar, yes, but molded differently. Worn and reshaped with time and trauma. ] He's the only one who knows what he's not.
