Uh... well technically probably not, but if your actual dad didn't buy it for you I might not either? But apparently I'm not really exactly like him in a few ways so I dunno. But I'm still not your dad.

No, I know that. I'm just saying that since you're not actually my dad if I asked you about it, it wouldn't be asking the same question over and over again because you never would have heard the question. Mom doesn't like it when I do that. But this wouldn't be the same thing. See? It makes sense!
