My mundane just made a very terrible sound, then started giggling.

[He softly scoffs but remains composed. Hey, at least it's better than getting smashed in the face with something like, oh, a bullet. It gets much worse.]

At least someone is amused at my expense. It would not be the first and it most certainly will not be the last someone has laughed at my less than graceful blunders.
