testing, testing, one two three (gameverse!)
Hello! I am Emmet. I am a Subway Boss! Ah, but you already know that. Don't you, Station Master?
You don't have to be concerned. Not about me being without Ingo. Or Ingo being without me for a while. Ingo works verrrrry hard, after all. We both do. Long hours on each of our lines! This won't be the first time we've been apart. We're a two-car train. But we can separate when we need to. We work better that way!
You're worried. I can tell. You're boarding a different train than the line you usually ride. You'll be going through unfamiliar terrain. That's okay! You choose your destination, and the trip is half the fun!
So! Follow the rules! Safe driving! Check safety! Everybody smile! Everything's ready! All aboard!

[She's trying to say "You're mun must already care about you, so you don't have to be so nice."]
no subject
But being encouraging doesn't hurt. You know.
no subject
Still, do take all proper safety precautions. Extended periods of separation can wear down cars if they aren't careful. [fuss fuss, worry worry.]
no subject
[don't mind him as he casually invades your personal space okay.]
So! How have you been holding up while we were unlinked? There are lots of unfamiliar stations around here, I hear!
no subject
Emmet the space invader is tolerated as usual, of course.] Ah... this train has been holding up all right on its detour, I suppose. Perhaps not operating at full capacity, but well enough.
It is certainly a learning experience. [Which is good! He actually has to... meet new people. gasp.] You, also, seem to be doing well.. or are at the very least optimistic.
no subject
You've been seeing new things! That's good! [...] Not bad things, though? You said you're not at full capacity. I always tell you, you work too hard! [and worry too much; that's going to catch up someday!]
no subject
I trust you are keeping the Subway up and running like clockwork?
no subject
Tip-top condition! And you? Your Gym? How are things in Castelia?
no subject
My Gym is fine, thank you. Perhaps, you could visit one day? It's always open, Emmet. If you have time, of course. I'm sure you and Ingo and always busy running this operation.
no subject
But you should challenge it too, if you enjoy riding the trains. Yup! We could have a battle! A double battle!
Chandelure in the avatar <3
Between battles, I like to spend time with my bug types and also paint and sketch too. [He smiled.]
A double battle? Double the fun, right?
It's cute, isn't it? I can't take credit, though.
[well, while we're being forthright with hobbies and all TRAINS BATTLES TRAIN TRAINS DOUBLE BATTLES TRAINS]
Re: Yes it is :D
I agree that trainer and Pokemon should exist as one in perfect harmony between their pure hearts. Such beauty.
no subject
Harmony! Yes. Good combinations and good synergy, synchrony! Being able to see down the line beforehand and conduct appropriately! That is one of the marks of a good Trainer. [they're the most fun kind to battle, after all.
I am Emmet and what is a one-track mind]
no subject
Such inspiration I am feeling from just coming down here. Thank you. [He patted Emmet's shoulder.]
no subject
No problem at all. Always happy to serve!
Maybe you should come here more often! [Emmet, forever attempting to enable people into trying out the Battle Subway. it's totally 100% safe c'mon. they should know.]

But it isn't. We wish. We do try to accommodate everyone who wants to ride the trains. Gear Station opens early and closes late. But we all must rest too. And cars must be maintained. It can't be helped. You know. That's why schedules are important. Follow the schedule! [Emmet calm down stop talking it was a simple question]
I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
no subject
It sounds exciting though, Emmet.
no subject
Are the trains running on time? [Yep, a joke.]
no subject
[yes, that was an answer to both questions...]
no subject
So, is Ingo around or just you today? I was thinking of travelling on the Subway myself.
no subject
[or both, you know. but you need a partner for that.]
no subject
A challenge? I love challenges!
no subject
You should ride the trains sometime then! We'll challenge you if you get a long enough winning streak!
It depends on which line you ride though. The green ones are Ingo's. The red ones are mine. If you challenge the orange ones, we both will battle you! At the same time! Tag battle!
no subject
A double battle sounds like my kind of ride! The orange line it is. [He smirked and rubbed his hands together.] How about I ride both of you at the same time? [Bad, change it quickly...]
...I mean the trains. Ride both trains. Uh, you know what I mean.
no subject
that. was some slip there. Champion Alder.]
no subject
Sorry, slip of the tongue there, Emmet. I'm just excited to ride all these different trains. [Just the trains, honestly! I'm a strong guy, come on! I don't dress like Burgh...]
no subject
Anyway! The orange line is for Tag Battles. Doubles are red. My line! You can still challenge the orange line, if you want. But you need a partner for that. A human one! [because their Pokemon are their partners, yes, but they don't quite count for this.]
[...that might be interesting, though. a Pokemon challenger, that is. what's the precedent on that. maybe they'll need to set one.]
no subject
Maybe I should ride the red first? Would you like to face me first?
no subject
But you'll still need to defeat everyone else on-board first, Champion. No exceptions! [really, he doesn't care quite so much about who he battles as much as how they battle...]
[and oho, champion or no, you seem to be taking this tag battle thing prettttty casually.] Should you challenge the orange line, you and your partner will have to be in sync. Tag Battles aren't like Double Battles. They are similar! But not the same. You will have to work with your partner. Cover for them. Be covered by them. Choose well! [battles are no fun if they are not serious, after all.]
no subject
Of course I'll beat everyone else! Or give it my best shot anyway! [He laughed deeply.]
Alright, being in sync is something I have within myself and my Pokemon also know timing within the battle. I guess I'll have to pick someone close to me so we can get along like clockwork.
no subject
You believe in your Pokemon, that's a good attitude to have. I wouldn't expect any less of you!
But don't underestimate our employees. Or our patrons. You might be surprised! [especially if you run into those Hilbert and Hilda kids. they can give him and his brother a run for their money! their battles are always something exciting-- and whoops now he's excited at the thought of it.]
We'll be waiting. Anytime! Your belief is strong. If you choose to travel our lines, we'll test that strength! Your partner's too!
[if the champion (former or not) of unova were to challenge the Subway... now, wouldn't that be something?
take that, PWT.]no subject
You've got my interest going, Emmet.
