Okay, so I know I was pretty ticked about everything before, but... I'm ready to go home now, mun. I miss my family and I miss my friends. They need me, okay? And I'm not doing anyone any good here.

Maybe we can make a deal or something?

I don't know if I can either. Especially from here. [A nudge.] How're you holding up?

[A soft smile.] I'm holding up. Nothing to really talk about other than the fact my mun wants to send me to every game it seems.

It usually doesn't, but... yeah, I will, if anything comes of it. Kinda hard when the mun holds all the tiles, right?

[He sighs dramatically, running his hand through his already wild hair.]

Tell me about it. Not only does my mun hold all the tiles, but they've the one who made them in the first place. At least until April.

What happens in April?

That, my good hotman, is when we found out how many of my mun's tiles are even remotely close to the truth.

[Korra recognizes Sokka's attire - he's Southern Water Tribe! And - the boy seems familiar but she can't quite put her finger on it. Hmm.]

Why were you angry to begin with?

[Hey, sistah from another mistah. Sokka offers a nod, even if he's having trouble not pouting.]

Because my stupid mun thought it was okay to take me away from my family and friends in the first place.

[Korra's face falls. She remembers - even if it is only in blurry memories - how it felt when she was first taken by the White Lotus to start she Avatar training. Leaving her mom and dad behind had been traumatic for the four-year-old. Eventually, she had come to terms with it but she could still understand that pain.]

I'm sorry your mun did that. I'm sure they didn't mean to make you so upset.

[She takes a seat next to Sokka with a sigh.]

My name's Korra. What's yours?

[Oh, Korra, if only he could tell you where he's been and how he actually knows you. In this meta space, though, he decides against it.]

I'm Sokka, of the Southern Water Tribe. Just like you, right? I can tell. [Half-lie. He knows.] Us Southerners gotta stick together.

[Oh, Sokka - you needn't worry about telling Korra more than you should given who she looked up to the most when she was training in the South Pole.]

Sokka... of the Southern Water Tribe...?

[She stares at him for a long time before continuing.]

No way. You're not - you can't be. Are you - are you related to Master Katara?

[pinkaura]

[Hey look, Sokka! It's your favourite person in the whole, wide world!]

You know, being angry or sad is just the worst for worry lines. You're totally going to have a break out!

[angle_on_it]

I wish that was the worst of my worries, Ty Lee. How've you been?

[pinkaura]

But wrinkles make you look old!

I've been great Sokka! It sucks being 'homeless' though, doesn't it? I kinda wish my mun would place me somewhere already, geez.

[angle_on_it]

Yeah, same here. This headapace stuff is for the lizardbirds. I mean, my mun tried putting me somewhere, but... [He shakes his head.] Just couldn't make it work. I was fine, but I think she couldn't keep her head in the game.

[pinkaura]

That's too bad. Maybe it was just the wrong... world for you? There's just so many out there that one of them has to work!

[inflecto]

Please tell your mun that we miss you too. It's not the same without you around, Sokka.

[angle_on_it]

[Oh spirits, heart sinking here.] It's really hard not being together, isn't it?

[inflecto]

Well, who's going to make all the jokes if you're not around? [ Yeah, that act isn't fooling anyone. ]

...It really is. We'll figure something out though, we always do.

[angle_on_it]

Yeah, we always do. [Although, it's not looking so good without the whole GAang around, but Katara has always been pretty good at the optimism role.]

[He tilts his head.] You okay, little sister? You're looking a little down. Wanna talk about it?

[inflecto]

Of course I am. [ This is her game face though, and she's not going to be surprised if Sokka doesn't take that 'of course' on face value. ]

I could just use you around, that's all. I had forgotten what it was like to be alone, a little bit.
