A small issues before hopefully going to scorched

 Admittedly, you seem to enjoy playing me and I do look forward to the chance to see familiar faces again, but there's one thing I think you need to consider before you send me in without my wand. 

1. There's at least one person in the city who would likely want nothing more than to see me dead again. 
2. see one 
3. see two.

 Aside from that though, I have no complaints as of yet, so we'll see how it goes.

Conflict inevitably draws our mundanes to these...games, rather than repelling them. Despite your concerns, I imagine Bellatrix's presence is viewed as a perk.

It certainly was such for my own.

I can't imagine how someone could take such pleasure in the kind of torture they seem to enjoy inflicting.

Her ire is usually directed towards her niece.

I don't plan to seek interaction with her at all, but considering my role in certain events, I'm not sure I can say the same for her.

I'd prefer she never even know I was there, if that's even possible.

It is nearly impossible to hide from anyone in Anatole. The Forges expose us all in time; indeed, once every other month, our memories and dreams are publicly broadcast.

At best, you would have two months to prepare.

Bear in mind, of course, that vengeance your "role in certain events" is likely not nearly so high on her list of priorities as mine or Hermione Granger's - or Lucius Malfoy's, for that matter. After all, you have already paid your due.

That may well be true, given what I know of the events that happen after my own death.

Of course, I won't know anything of the sort when I actually arrive, but I imagine that won't be an issue for long. The lack of a wand bothers me whether she's there or not, in any case.

A few hours' worth of reading through old Forge broadcasts will illuminate you, no doubt. Lucius has suffered the same as the rest of us, and his...change of heart, shall we say, is well known.

As to the wand, we shall see about a replacement. No one has gone wandless for long.

I'm sure it will, if I don't have others telling me everything before I have a chance to even look. As to Malfoy, I was more concerned with Bellatrix. He at least has a firm grip on his own sanity.

I never said I trusted in it, just that he's less likely to be as blatant as Bellatrix. I'm well aware that there's little safety to be had in a place such as Anatole, especially with those who chose the other side present.

I would not suggest trusting his loyalties, either, for that matter.

I have been there for nearly a year. I could hardly be expected to continue railing against my abduction when nothing could be done for it.

The clinic houses those who are ill and thus incapable of defending themselves.

I'm aware of what a clinic is for.

I just wasn't aware that you were skilled in the healing arts to that degree, potions yes, but you never seemed all that interested in the medical side of things.

However, I am a skilled duellist and they were in need of protection.

Why would you find such a thing surprising? Would it not be your own choice to defend those in need?

What I would choose to do is not necessarily what others would choose to do.
