[What she saw was progress. The fact that Tieria didn't shove her away was proof enough of how he has grown and changed with the rest of the world.]
It's a journal-based 'sandbox' of a game, according to my Mundane, that has periodic events that include both unnatural occurrences and subtle developments in a peripheral war.
[The tone was clipped, as if he were reading from an informational manual.]
...however...they seem to be lacking in basic technology.
...
She says that I should be grateful that there's indoor heating and plumbing in the village. [His displeasure bled through in his expression and tone. The game was obviously not one that he was suited for.]
They were. [He wasn't going to deny that.] The deadline for submissions is tonight, which was why it was submitted so quickly, but we won't hear anything about it for at least a week.
It's hard to say what the game will be like right now, but it's better than being left without even an account. There is a chance here, and that is enough for many muses and mundanes.
Then let us hope it is the former and not the latter.
My mun is not involved with the game himself, but he expresses that you should exercise caution, as you will not have access to VEDA or your Gundam. It is likely to be a trying time for you due to the lack of technology.
I understand this all ready, as does my Mundane. That's why she is also considering one of the games you're in as a possibility. It's also why she was hoping to find one of our fellow crewmen to bring along, to ease the transition.
She's particularly attached to this game, mostly because she knows no other.
[nods, having someone from home come along would help ease things for anybody, Tieria was no exception to that.]
The game I belong to, Super Robot Wars Universal Generations Alpha, is more linear in its approach. We engage in battles via a chatroom on AIM, and deal with day to day issues in the community proper.
... Lockon Stratos is alive. [Does that get your attention, Tieria?] He is currently engaged in a romantic relationship with Allelujah Haptism. Of the four of us, you are the only one missing.
So I have heard, although I would have never imagined that Lockon and Allelujah would engage in such a liaison. My mundane has spoken with one of yours a few times, and has even lurked a few of these AIM chats.
It's the live battles that are her main concern. Her skills with such writing are untested, although I do believe that she will excel if she gave herself a chance.
Apologies. My mundane is not particularly in tune with the going ons of the chats, so he isn't aware of how much you know.
While my mundane would like to offer assistance in preparing for the live battles, he has never played the role of GM and would likely be of little help, outside of perhaps offering a second player to give you a better feel of the battle flow.
That isn't a problem. My mundane stays quiet for the most part. Again, 'lurking.'
Any assistance will be more than welcome, Setsuna. That's one part of her hesitation with that game. The other is the nature of the battles. Real-time text based combat is difficult because she is drawn into other affairs frequently, depending on the night. Her schedule, with her new job, is also highly irregular.
With the right timing and planning it can work out, but that can be more difficult than it seems.

It was something.]
It was an impulse submission, and she wrote it when she should have been asleep. We don't know if it will amount to anything right now.

So what kind of game is it? D'ya think it's one you'd be good at?

Aw, I'm sorry, Tier...it looks like my congratulations were a little premature!

Your mundane seems to be more proactive than the others I've heard word of.

It's one thing to be proactive. It's another to be overeager. However, her heart's in the right place. I can't fault her for it.
