Sending me to the Dressing Room of a previous game with no activity requirements is too much of a cop out. You have no idea what you'll have me do there with or without my memories of that place intact. Not to mention that you have neither the drive or time to do it.

No, that's not all. It would be too much of a temptation and pressure for your friend to follow suit. She has more obligations to tend to than attempting to repair the rift your estrangement has caused. And I've already... crossed that bridge.

Only fools exhaust their powers trying to handle a single problem.

I can exert a quarter of my power and it would constitute what you would be able to produce in tens of thousands of lifetimes.

And yet I myself am still subject to my player's wishes.

So what could YOU hope to do?

When brute force doesn't work, you need your wits to conquer your foe.

[The smirk widens and she lifts her tentacle-hands. Soon Meta Knight can hear his own voice saying "you need your wits" echoing off of... nothing. Then, another loop of that voice can be heard from another location. And another, until an entire cacophony of disembodied voices surrounds Meta Knight with no source to speak of.]

No.

The real trick isn't doing that. Actually. My very existence alters the fabric of reality surrounding noise and light.

So, the bigger trick is regulating myself so that all of the natural ambiance of everything around us doesn't get captured, repeated, and amplified to the point of driving you insane. It is my restraint that allows us to speak as you are used to, and my control over myself that caused that little trick with your voice.

Though I will confess to having a natural curiosity of your people.

What's there to be curious of?

Believe it or not, restraint is a rare quality among my kind.

And yet, here you creatures are. Finite in your abilities. And yet predisposed to accept the limits upon yourself such as laws, order, and governance. Though you do have a tendency to push them, perhaps, but ultimately restricted.

And far more interestingly, capable of placing seals and restraints upon us. Bringing us to your level.

How can I not find you interesting?

Hmph. And once you understand why we are like that, what will you do?

Bring about order and harmony to my people as leader of the Noble Ring of Horrorterrors.

Then I have this piece of advice for you. Limits, or rather, knowing of one's limits prevents self-destruction.
