Mun, I do believe we have a bit of a problem.

And by bit of a problem I mean that you are absolutely out of your mind if you believe this is a good idea. I was quite glad to be left alone in favor of any of your others, but then you just had to find it an absolutely hilarious idea of throwing me there.

You know the reason why I do not want to go there and why I am particularly upset given the... reason for everyone being put there. It goes against my principles and I'd rather like it if you would remember those and not do it for your own amusement. I'd be fine going anywhere other than that place.

I also do not appreciate it that you are doing your best to get your cohort to bring in Alucard along with me, while it would be nice to have some protection from the more unruly in that city it is not necessary. Particularly given that he would find far too much amusement in how uncomfortable the situation would be for me and even more so given that that... reeducation you speak of would make it all the worse.

Don't you dare try and get anyone else from my world to think about going there, it is unnecessary.

Fix this.

I think not. If they're such a peaceful society then finding a way to change the way things are don't shouldn't be terribly difficult to do. Being treated as some kind of breeding stock is not going to be how I adjust.

Do you really believe that a government who will readily place control chips within their populace has peaceful intentions? They take away inhibition, control and direct them without real concern; kidnap others to play their little game. I think, Master, it would be naive to assume they do not have methods of suppressing insurrection.

[ There it is; that low, low laugh. What they have or don't have matters not at all to him. He'll do as he always does - as she bids - and relish the opportunity. ]

Those chips will be a bit of a problem, won't they? But each piece of technology has a flaw and can be exploited if you can figure out how to manipulate it. It might take a bit of experimenting with maybe less than willing participants, but it's worth a try. If they use chips to brainwash the masses then it means they don't have the force or authority to control them any other way.

Or that it is simply easier to force their compliance by lulling them into a perpetual state of self-indulgence. Why bother fighting when you can... well.

[ A smirk forms and he rests his chin against his fingers. ]

It means that by that method they have lulled themselves into thinking they don't need a strong police or military force in order to deal with any problems on a large scale. Wasteland outside and all of that does ensure they would have no need for a large force, making it all the easier to take them down with our, well, own brand of force.

[If nothing else, she's certainly enjoying discussing how to take them down. That's... something, at least. Not all doom and gloom.]

Perhaps. [ He doubts it though for a number of reason and really if they are woefully unprepared for a full out confrontation, he will be disappointed. Humans die too quickly as it is. ]

And if they are prepared?

[ Now his grin widens, showing both sharp fangs and insatiable thirst for blood, death. There are people there - humans - a great many of them. Are they all expendable? Will the streets run red? ]

Then if they are they will be mowed down, if they wish to fight back. Though given if they are as lax as I think they are, they shouldn't be much of a threat.

[A bit of a smirk, there's almost amusement in her words.] Guerrilla tactics if necessary or waiting until they mistakenly allow for you to have your abilities back. They may restrict you to that sense, but they can't sever every bit.

[No question in it at all. She'd certainly deny that she would cause hell as quickly as that, but there are certain situations where she feels it is the best course of action.]

We won't have the numbers we typically do, but since when has that ever mattered?

We fought a war with just the three of us. Decimated armies and watched rivers of blood rush by. [ He remembers and clearly enjoys it. In the end it had been just them: outnumbered and outgunned. ] Even the Major - with all his time and research - couldn't stop Hellsing. The Vatican dogs fell as well. A pity they didn't last longer.

[ His fingers lace together and Alucard leans forward. He can almost taste it. ]

Exactly. I sincerely doubt these people are better equipped than that lot, meaning there should be an easier time of it. Even without our typical weaponry and your abilities, brute strength isn't something that can be taken away with a simple chip of all things.

[She certainly isn't any better, already going over pictures in her mind and ways to use mundane objects to their advantage.]

I would hate for you to go into this unprepared for any possibility. Staging an insurrection of that magnitude will not be a fast process, my Master.

[ Especially if you want him to have access to his powers. Things must be done to achieve that. ]

I plan to have this insurrection happen far before the... complication has to be thought of. Whether or not that takes time, they can attempt to do as they wish to me, but they are not going to break my will no matter how much they try. I will remain how I am and without bending to the... nature of the place.

[ He doesn't expect a different answer at all. In fact had she wavered he would have been disappointed in her. Instead he smiles both proud and yet curious as to exactly what will happen.

Because he knows what it is to be forced to bend. ]

I suppose we'll find out just what we'll both have to do.
