Pardon my impertinence, but I don't feel that you are ready to rise to the challenge of "playing" me. Your review of my story has been minimal and your memory is most likely not as good as you think as it is. I am glad to be back in your service after such a long absence, but I feel that, without adequate preparation, you are bound to fail miserably. Will you be able to handle the humiliation if things don't go as planned?

I hear that you also plan to bring the lord sage Sephiran back into this "headspace." While the news is quite welcome, I would like to give you the same warning in his stead.

Please be careful. This is quite a gamble you are taking.

Also, that "user name?" I don't find that funny. You know why.

Absolutely not. The consequences of such a thing would be disastrous. Though I do wonder why you walk around with such a blatant mark on your chest... aren't you worried about being persecuted? No one favors the Branded.

You are either very brave or very careless about your life. The Branded are looked down upon with shame and hatred. The Laguz blood flowing through otherwise Beorc veins disgusts people.

As I said, such an attempt from them would mark them out to me as much as I am marked myself. I worked to make this symbol synonymous with my vengeance, so someone who wanted to kill me for it is just alerting me to who they are and where.

Passion is not enough to defeat an enemy. I have seen this in action. With inadequate preparation comes swift defeat. I would prefer that my mun not have to face the consequences of her poor preparation.

And as for the user name... I would rather not say.

Hmm... you are right. I know well of what you speak. I have experienced and witnessed many turns of foul luck. Nonetheless, it helps to try and guard against all the confounding variables.

Perhaps... but she seems to be doing a good job of keeping to your true character to me. Many people find you to be a complete enigma, so finding someone that understands you as well as she does is rare.

If you really feel her preparation is inadequate, why not try a quick review of the details?

Perhaps then you should view it as a new goal in life for you General. Your goal was to surpass General Ike's father, was it not? That and to serve lord Sephiran? Perhaps then, you should keep struggling towards those goals. There is an entire multiverse out there waiting for you, with swordsmen equally as powerful as Ike's father. You can still keep struggling to become a stronger and better person, and I think that in itself will make you less of an embarrassment. As long as you strive to follow your dreams, you will continue to be Zelgius, and one that anyone could be proud of.

Hah... that is quite a speech from you. It's surprisingly inspirational. But to hear there are swordsmen out there as powerful as General Gawain... that may sound impressive, but for me there will only be one substitute for him: his son. No others can possibly replace him.

Well, you never know, I have seen General Ike a few times in the time my Mun has had me.
