Wait..so why do you have me out and about? I thought you were going to let me re- er...Train and let everyone else go to games? And why are you laughing along with that witch...

Why do I have a bad feeling about this...

[Guess who is being teased by her mun and another muse about heading to the tower?]

There's something on you.]

Where are you going, Meiling?

[There's a smile on her face now, even with the idea of the game looming over her]

I guess I'm heading to a place called The Tower.

Although the laughter coming from this girl is starting to worry me a bit.

[...Flandre's face turns a bit more grave, at that. She clambers up to Meiling's shoulders and curls her wings partway around her, as if shielding the gate guard from something unpleasant.]

Remi is there, too. It didn't sound very nice...

[She will be still and make sure Flandre is secure there before gently patting her head.]

I heard Mistress is there, but most of my information is from the witch. She was there for a short period of time and keeps telling me to 'Have fun with the collar'...Whatever that means.

And if it's not nice, maybe that is more reason to head there.

... I'm sharing in your apprehension.

It's a dangerous place.

[Whoops have Remi in all her scarred glory.]

But I'll make sure nothing happens to you.

[Though her eyes close at the headpat, and her grumbles turn indistinct...Flandre still still growls after a moment. Really growls.]

They put a muzzle on me once. Not there, not this...tower place, but where I'm at.

[Another growl.]

It wasn't nice. Not at all.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of this...

But it sounds like this will not be easy or even sane.

Mistress I-

[Meiling is just going to stare for a moment, Either that or her brain has blue screened on her. Did she fail in her duties...?]

Wha-....What happened?

The Facility happened. [So frank.]

[She will still again for a moment, closing her eyes to try and calm herself before speaking again. These games are starting to worry her even more. Although there might have been a moment she stopped patting Flandre's head and stiffened]

These places are not nice at all it sounds like if they seek to torment.

[She slumps a bit, She had failed then. But that doesn't mean she can't make up for this when she arrives then]

...I...I failed you at that point then...But I will make up for it! No need to protect me, It is my job to protect you and everyone else.

[She straightens up, looking more determined then ever. She would not fail again!]

Negative. You performed above and beyond the duty I initially hired you for, and helped me countless times.

There are things that are out of our control...particularly there, as well as in the Tower.

[She isn't sure what to say to that. She didn't do anything special as far as she remembers...She is obviously confused.]

But when I last saw you...you were okay and not like..

[She just hopelessly gestures. She isn't sure what to say about this other then what keeps running through her head.]

Out of our control? Then I should be there to help with whatever comes your way!

Have you never been in a "game"? The Facility was one of them. You were there. Just. Another you, I suppose.

[The little vampire wiggles her way up to nuzzle at Meiling's face as soon as she notices.]

That...happens sometimes, Meiling. Sometimes, Outside is mean; it isn't nice at all.

[Nuzzle, nuzzle.]

But...there are more than bad things, there. Much more.

I haven't yet, Unless you count her using me for some...Tabletop game?

Another me huh? Then it looks like I still need to prove that I have not failed you.

... Then don't go.

If I had the choice, I wouldn't go, believe me.

But I don't have one, so I have to deal with what this tower will throw at me.

[One eye opens and she smiles a bit at the nuzzling. She's new to the whole game thing and so far is just not liking the idea behind it at all.]

Just means my job got a whole lot harder. These games just means I have to keep trying. Outside isn't always mean though. Sometimes it brings you happy times and things you want the most.

[Both eyes open now, she's less tense. The anger and worry is still there but for now, not needed. Besides, she's busy being a sort of living jungle gym ]

I'll be careful, Don't worry. Besides, It's my duty to protect everyone, No matter where we all are right?

[A shake of the head.]

[She won't fight on that any longer, even though she still feels like she needs to prove herself. But that can wait until she is there to help and do such]

[She pauses, thinking on this for a moment]

Is it as bad there as others are saying...?

Not as bad as the Facility. But still rather horrid.

That's what I was afraid of..But that just means I have my work cut out for me.

[She's smiling as she says this, but this also give herself a moment to think on this. This tower...She will it out eventually..Even if all this will have to be re-explained if and when she gets there}

But why? It's just cruel... None of you should be there...

That it is cruel but...Someone has to watch out for the others who are there.

...Maybe while I am there someone will find a way for us to escape.

[Flandre stays quiet while Meiling speaks, not interrupting her with words or obtrusive nudges--surprisingly enough.

Then she flops her head down on the gate guard's shoulder and not quite sighs, not quite mumbles.]

Meiling should stay safe, too.
