Oops, someone just woke up again...

You know that's really not funny, right, mun? You don't let me see Estelle for months, and then the first thing you want to do once you start playing again is marry her off to Mr. Noble Haughtypants? I don't think anyone here is happy with that. Except maybe Haughtypants, but I don't even know who he is, anyway.

I kinda hope that's actually his name. He probably deserves it.

[Yuri, you do realize you're now condemning someone you've never met, who may or may not even exist.]

So you're saying if someone dragged you away from your fiance and then magically rewrote the past so you were never together in the first place, you wouldn't be like that?

[Valid point, I guess...]

Yeah. So, where's Estelle?

Quick to make up cruel nicknames for another, aren't you?

[A quiet chuckle, but this is kind of amusing. And maybe hits close to home, but also amusing.]

So some man comes in and takes the girl away, is that what it is?

[She'd say 'a kidnapping', but that's not a happy word for her...]

But this rewriting the past. Did you already acheive the ending you wanted? Then again from what I've gathered, mundanes have the ability to rewrite our stories here at will. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that.

[She's already experienced that kind of meta in her life, she doesn't want that shit again.]

I can't think of anyone who would be. Though it's sad to know you can't stay in that ending that sounds like it made you both happy. It's rather cruel in a sense. I didn't think I would run into that here as well. It seems that mundanes are as cruel as some people I know, even if those people were trying to change the past to get a 'better future'.

Exactly what it sounds like.

Say a group of 100 motorcyclists were on the highway and came up to a fork. The leader decided to go east, but ten miles in, a semi-truck came and collided with them, killing 90 of the members. Many would call that a 'bad future', correct? But those ten remaining members all had lives too. Some may have fallen in love, had life changing moments, met a child and adopted them, you name it.

But the leader had the power to go back into the past and go west at the fork where those 100 people all survived. Objectively speaking, that sounds better, right? But what about those 10 people who lived through that hell? Will they be forgotten about? Will all their hardship simply be dismissed because they met a 'bad end'?

No. They haven't been successful as of yet.

They're hoping this next attempt will be successful. After all, they went through such lengths to train the person who's capable of sending his consciousness back in time. In fact, it sounds like there are a few people who are doing this.

It is.

[Far too complicated, and it came at far too great of a price, at least for Alice.]

I'm not entirely sure why she wanted to do something like that...

[No, her mun's a sadist, she knows this. She knows this all too well... A story to satisfy those sadistic desires...

Even the mundane has no clue how she puts up with it.]
firstaid: (is that so?; tee hee!)

Perhaps they will lose interest.

[Because she knows her mundane will go through with this idea if she really wants to, unless interest is lost.]
firstaid: (Huzzah!)

I'm sure we can find something.

Mr. Noble Haughtypants? [Are we talking about Flynn here?]
4bravevesperia: (takes one to know one)

They did? When did the Council decide who she should marry? And who is it anyway?
