[Nott holds his hands trying to calm Tatsube] I mean they don't... At least not as far as I know. No Werewolves, no vampires no ghosts... Just humans and people like me.

[Nott then rubs the back of his head looking a little sheepish.]

I'm guessing foxes like me don't exist in your world either.

Humans, werewolves, and vampires all exist where I'm from. Humans block us out. Think we're fake. It's best that way. Who knows what stupid stuff they'd do if most humans knew.

But, no. Not foxes like you. Just foxes. Foxes that don't speak human languages and are more in-tune with nature. There are humans turned into lycans. Werewolves like me and my mom can change completely. Humans can't do it right, because they're messed up. When they change they just look dumb.

Maybe if they were more like your kind, it wouldn't be such an embarrassment.

[Nott opens his mouth...then pauses to think.]

You know, that could be the case back home too. If my friend Feris can hide from people I don't see why real werewolves can't.

Not you. Human changed lycans are embarrassing. I meant that if they looked more like you do, maybe I could stand them a little more.

[Not that he has really met one, or even realizes how closely he'll resemble one when he transforms himself. He just really hates humans.]

Oh! Good. [Being a clone is one thing but He wouldn't want to be thought of as an embarrassment because if his appearance, it's not like he can do anything about how he looks. ]

Nah, my kind aren't a secret. We're...kinda, well humans made us. And yeah there's more. Fenris is a wolf, and I've met a cat, a dog, a rat, a rabbit... [Nott shruggs.] I don't know exactly how many species there are though.

[Tatsube looks angry, until his yellow eyes looks away with uncertainty.]

Why did they "make" you?

[Nott sighs] I don't really want to go into all the boring details but...The humans figured out how to mess with DNA a little tweak here and there and hey presto my forefathers had opposable thumbs and vocal cords...I guess that's why I don't hate them that much. Sure some are jerks, believe me I've met a few, but without them I'd probably be digging though a bin for dinner right now.

What about werewolves? Where did they come from? Evolution? Magic?

Dig through a bin? Have the humans destroyed all the earth in your world? Have they left nowhere for animals to live in the wild?

[He almost feels like snapping a remark back about evolution and magic, but instead takes a moment to himself. It's a good thing because it reminds him of something.]

My mother used to tell me that the spirits each created a precious being to enjoy the world they made. The spirit of earth gave the world werewolves, the spirit of air gave the world vampires, The spirit of water gave humans.

Humans have argued this and said they're made of the world's earth and werewolves are made of fire. But how can humans be made of earth when they ruin it so blindly and destroy everything?! If you ask me, humans are made of fire, not water. That's why they mess everything up and destroy it.

You must be really brave to be encouraging your mun to take you into a game.
