On the lack of DCAU players
Aw, come on girl. You're kind of killing the mood here. Sure, I know it kind of sucks that we're like an endangered species or a Batman sighting at noon, but you can't keep getting yourself into funks over it.
We're out there. There's probably a lot more of us than you realize. Do you know the chances of a canon that long with that many characters not having more of us around? (Old ones don't count. We were still showing new episodes within the last decade, okay?)
So just chill a bit, would you? It's never as bad as you think it is. Besides, it's not like majority of them would even know who I am. Not that different than rolling with the ones from places where I don't exist. At least, not the way I am here, since you know I probably exist there somewhere. You know what I mean.

Uh...yeah. Now the question is if that is a good thing or not. I say we start with a clean slate. Completely fresh and no me in a corner.

Either way, nice get up. Are you a superhero, or a pilot?

So... Gear. Tech powers? Do you do the machine-building thing, too? Mun's pretty excited to see you, along with half her Plurk.
no subject
I did say I'm a supergenius. The tech just kind of comes alone with it. If I can think of it, I can build it. It's kind of nice knowing someone has heard of me. [Fans are sweet.]
Now what about you? Shareware isn't a one way street. What's your name?
no subject
I'm Danny. Danny Fenton. I've got ghost powers, so I'm better known as Danny Phantom back home in the public eye.
[...okay, no, they're calling him Inviso-Bill but hahahaha no.]
I know all about that no-mentor thing, though. I was just telling Jaime a while back that the closest thing I've got to a potential mentor back home is my arch-nemesis and that's, uh, kind of a big no. But hey, least you're not on your own in the crime fighting biz!

[That is terrible and Gear supports denying it until Danny's dying day.]
Ghost powers, huh? So you walk through walls, move things with your mind, go invisible? I bet everyone loves to invite you to Halloween parties.
no subject
Aw, jeez. I'd help out if I could. Good luck, dude. What'd you even do to get into prison?
As for powers, yeah -- walking through walls, invisibility... I've done the "moving things" once or twice but it's pretty involuntary. Still getting the hang of a lot of my powers. I even scare people, which really stinks when I'm trying to convince them I'm the good guy.

Thanks, man. But if you tried, you'd probably end up stuck in there with me. Jaywalking can get you a life sentence to this place. Superheroes aren't really known for avoiding property damage. [And a few other things.]
Hey, I've got adults who still talk to me like I'm five. Really cramps the style when you're trying to put fear into the hearts of bang babies and supervillains.
no subject
Yeah, I've been caught in crazy overreacting prisons before. Can't say I like 'em too much, but seriously, good luck getting out.
Bang Babies, huh? That what you call the bad guys where you're from?
no subject
Bang babies are just people that got powers because of the Big Bang. An explosion at the docks in Dakota.

The not-so-good fine print of this wonderful vacation getaway under the sea? They give you a life sentence for just about anything.
no subject
It... actually sounds pretty cool, but the life sentence/not leaving thing? Nnnnot exactly the best deal. Do they at least have internet access?
no subject
The wardens say the sentence is permanent, but I figure enough of us have brains that we'll figure a way out somehow. Just...not one that crashed the mainframe and puts us in a total blackout...again. And internet? Please. intranet, is all we've got and so few people use it, it may as well be dead. All the nice attractions are just meant to make us forget we're trapped there.
