It's been rather dusty, eh? On being apped in at a game opening soon.
Right, mun.
First, I'm waiting for your excuses. Obviously I was never worried that you'd come back -- I mean, how could you resist? I fancy we work well together when you let me do what I do best and I just stand here and accept your adoration and praise.
...what? Sorry, didn't quite catch that? Shame and disappointment? You know, I thought I had the measure of you, then you do a bloke like that... I'm injured! Wounded, you might say. More so now that you're rolling your eyes at me. I can see you've forgotten my usual charm. You've got those other blokes running around in your headspace these days to distract you, but don't get your knickers in a twist just yet. I'm sure you'll remember how famously we get along soon.
And no. I don't think I'll "please, please, oh please god shut up". For someone who can be egged into an app so easily, you do moan a lot after the fact, don't you?
It's really not my problem that you're exceptionally keen on this "NaNo" thing, either. You're stuck with me whether you like it or not.
So hey -- why don't you start getting used to the idea? And while you're at it, see about finding some of my mates again, would you? Again -- I can't be arsed to care that this new "game" thing is all the way over on... what is it? insanejournal? We're going straight back to our roots, then! Brilliant! So stop whining about how hard it is to find castmates there and get on with it. Go on. I'm waiting.

Exceptionally brilliant and talented.

'Cissa, you quite obviously need to learn to read through the lines. Or read. You've mastered that talent lately, haven't you?
no subject
Oh, and throw tea parties, I suppose.
no subject
Tea parties. You know, I've changed my mind about you. You should invite me over for tea and biscuits. It'll be brilliant.
I swear.
no subject
...oh, please. I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you; don't think I've forgotten your propensity for dosing food with Substances of Interest, Sirius.
no subject
Dosing... 'Cissa! That there is what we tend to call blasphemy. I'm surprised at you. Aren't I your favourite cousin? And you think I'd do something barmy like dosing food.
Obviously I'd go for the drinks.
no subject
Methinks the lady doth protest too much. The drinks are obvious, which is why you're not allowed near the petit fours; do you think me daft as well as illiterate?
no subject
Well, if you were meaning to convince me otherwise, you've done a fairly bad job of it. Cheers, though. You've seen straight through me! I was just in it for the biscuits. Though I wouldn't be opposed to those little cakes -- when'm I invited, again?
no subject
You're not. And even if you were, you can't visit the place I'm currently stranded in, so you're destined to be denied biscuits.
no subject
Sounds a bit dodgy. As your favourite, I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't be invited. I'm handsome, charming, and dead clever. This place you're in must be barking. Where is it, again?
no subject
How do you know Regulus isn't my favourite, hmm? He's also handsome, charming and dead clever, and has a streak of sensibility you lack, darling cousin.
It's nowhere you'd have heard of, and definitely not on Insanejournal. Your mun was right on that point; we're few and far between over there, and the ones that are around either don't last or already have full casts.
no subject
Really? Bloody hell. I need to have a few words with my mun. It's bad enough that Regulus is due there. The only one that'll be any fun is Evans. 'Course with her there, I'll be surprised if James doesn't come 'round before long.
no subject
Evans... I don't know that name. [Ugh, Muggleborns? Seriously? Pun only half-intended?]
no subject
What? Haven't heard of Evans? [There's a touch of wicked glee to that. Just a tiny bit.] Redhead? James is constantly fawning all over her? Bleeding brilliant at Potions and Charms? Ringing any bells? I think she'd give you a run for your gold in the looks department, 'Cissa. Surely you two chat all about your little beauty secrets.
no subject
Mm, no. I don't really pay much attention to the younger Gryffindors; they're not likely to impact my life in any way-- [Hey. HEY. There is no way that a red-head and a cool blonde can compete, they're entirely different colouring and she is Offended. Offended.] Sirius Orion Black, there is not one single freckle blemishing this complexion, we are not even remotely comparable. Not that I particularly want Potter's affections to begin with.
no subject
What, really? James is almost as charming as me. Who wouldn't want to attract that? And you're sure about the freckles? Isn't that one just there -- right on the tip of your nose? Can't imagine what else it could be.
Bleeding hell... it's midnight. There goes the mun again, whinging about that daft "NaNo" rubbish again. She ought to sort her priorities. Obviously I'm much more important. Alas.
no subject
If by charming you mean arrogant and vaguely snotty, then yes, I suppose he is. He doesn't have our cheekbones, though, so I'll simply have to overlook him, and shut up, it is not. I happen to know my skin is flawless - unlike yours. You've some streak of something or other on your cheek, did you know?
Is it? My, my. I never dreamed we'd have so civil a conversation that I'd not notice the time passing. [She holds such great hope that he doesn't grow up to be an imbecile.] Tell your mun from mine that the idiocy of a Nano month is to be ignored. If she wants to write, just write. Mine apparently burnt herself out on all fic the last time she made an attempt, though reviews still trickle in, which is nice. Ish. Frankly, I don't see how she's going to finish it - something about not really shipping that anymore? Her phrases are strange.
no subject
That's it Sirius, you tell you mun what's what. I see some things never change. At least your mun has a fair idea of what to do with you though.
no subject
Some things are too bloody brilliant to change. Really, I'm surprised she managed to keep me away this long. Maybe I was just too amazing for her to handle?
The best thing about my mum is how easily she gives in to badgering. It's like I don't even have to try.
So. All right, Evans?
no subject
Oh how I've missed your unfaltering modesty, Sirius.
[A sigh] I wish I could say the same for my mun. Hey, you don't fancy swapping or anything do you? I mean it would make my year really. I'm doing good I just wish my mun could decide what she wants to do with me that's all.
I don't get out enough.
