voice slowly returning but mun is busy
Don't think for an instant I don't appreciate being here. I do. However, perhaps it will serve us both better if we stuck to the schedule, hm? The timelines were designed to ensure maximum efficiency. I've looked into this for you as you asked, user dear, so you don't have to worry. Patience is, as they say, a virtue. Cycles can only move as fast as they were programmed to. Just think of the fun we'll have when it's over and I can have you all to myself. It's the best for both of us, wouldn't you say?
Now don't fret. You know where to find me when the time comes. And you know what name to ask for.

"What do you mean by 'timelines?' The only thing my mun...er...User tells me is that I'm from an alternate one. But so far, there seems to be a lot of incidents that match up across them."

Fortunately, I've had the opportunity to experience a variety of these alternate timelines. Whole systems are built for the Users to experience though the use of Programs like us. Intriguing feats of programming, I must say. Every variation seems to be hinged on similar incidents, but it creates a unique chain of events that is different with every iteration. It's... stabilizing to hold onto the memories of things that stay the same.
The unfortunate side-effect is the unpredictability of these variations. More often than when I was on the Grid, new people arrive all the time. I do not believe we've met, Program. You have me at something of a disadvantage as I'm usually so good with faces.

"Oh. It's all right. My name is Jet. I came here from the Encom lab server. I work for Ma3a. She's the administrator for that server. I serve as an antivirus for the most part."
[Technically, none of that is a lie. He did get uploaded to the Encom lab server to fight off a virus, and he does act as an agent of Ma3a's. No sense in advertising the rest, especially since it tends to earn him a disc flying for his head or worse.]
"The Grid seems to be a very different environment than the other systems I've traveled to. It's hard to tell whose data you can trust."

What are you complaining about?

I have no complaints here. I am merely advising my new User on the best course of action concerning returning me to active status. As you well know, timing is everything.

Your new User? Your mun? We have no need for them.
