The life of a blind bard was hardly an easy one, but Matt had always done far better than just 'scrape by'. Withouth Fury, though... well, it seemed to be universally interesting times ]

You may find there are no bad stories, merit depends upon the audience that hears it.

Still, a fresh tale is always one worth hearing.

Mayhap not. A good story is not necessarily a heartening one.

The best part of all stories however, is that one may make one's own end of them. Truth means little in tales, and what is truth, but that which we say holds weight.

My tale? You are not the first to have asked, my friend, nor will you be the last, I think. But despite its brevity in the grand scheme of things, it is a long tale to tell in one sitting.

Action! Adventure! Tragedy! Strange and awkward romance! A fine story, I should think, with a strong and charming youth as its lead.

No, I think not. It is a toothsome idea, perhaps, but not what is right, and our intrepid hero would not be the better for it. The ending is as it should be, bittersweet perhaps, but necessary. Not all endings can be happy ones. How very unlucky for me!
