Being dead isn't as bad as I thought it might have been. Granted, the choking wasn't exactly enjoyable, but then I didn't really expect it to be. If anything, it's a bit of an anticlimax; I've found myself in a dreary little world in the perpetual state between hunger and nausea.
But I'm not complaining. So life is curable. I live in a world where even death is a mere ailment; how can that be possible? How can anyone have the technology to bring that into power?
[ Because the idea of gods and goddesses... no, he still doesn't buy that. All it takes is manipulation and a trick of the mind to have the masses following you - no, this is something else. Something worth noting. ]
From what I gather, the intercourse gives her energy and the people on the island talk as though she'd recently had some sort of... power outage. Clearly she's unstable and readily uses the people around her for her own profit. And here I thought goddesses were spiritual beings, here to aid humanity rather than hinder it. Oh, no I didn't; amazing how large the percentage in England is for people believing in their little gods, which clearly don't exist.
It's all about fairy tales.
[ And we're back to manipulation. He doesn't like it. Not at all. But then, it's given him something else. A life that he didn't think he could have; a life with John in a world where he doesn't resent him, where he doesn't know what's about the happen. Sherlock's from the future and he from the past - how, he has no idea, but it's all time, isn't it? They're all ripped from one world and placed into her's.
It's like she's collecting them. And once she's done, she throws them back, just as new. With no recollection of ever being there, unless you're one of the lucky few. ]
I'd like to meet her.
[ Pause. ]
And stop complaining about Lestrade. Frankly the less people we know there the better.

When you say being dead...

I mean it.

I'm afraid I can't be that surprised.
[Sherlock, your life is insane and even Irene thinks you are going to kick the bucket before you're forty.]

[ Sherlock finds that oddly complimentary. Why thank you, Irene.
And also I'm dead right now, tell no one about our Paris shenanigans. Shhh. ]

[If Sherlock is dead he was almost definitely murdered. Right?]

[ She's cheating on him anyway! He's better off without her. B| ]

Because he's actually not interested in cheating on her? Not while they're still married.

she didn't want to say anything but FINE!!
Don't tell me you're going through this again? Not that you'd know, but you've actually already tried it. There's nothing "interesting" about death there.
And there's nothing fairy tale about that place.
yeah whatever she couldn't deny the animal magnetism.
I happen to know who you're talking about, and he found it useful, just as I did. It's worthwhile information to have.
[ Because death is FINAL and it makes no damned sense. ]
Gods and goddesses are just another form of fairytale. It's all myth either way.
she couldn't deny the idiotism.
I am talking about him, but I'm actually talking about you, too. You were there when I was, but you — [ nooooope not going down this feels path. ]
It doesn't matter. She just likes to play with people. And meeting her isn't going to change that.
MAGNETISM.
But I what?
I don't expect it to. I'm merely interested.
I D I O T
[ siiiigh. ]
Well, she will probably just end up toying with you more.
hmph.
[ Because you're not there. :| ]
A risk I'm willing to take.
tsun tsun.
[ don't make her explain things. ]
'Course you are.
he knows you're attracted to him. we've been through this.
[ He just smiles. Not a real one, but it's close enough. ]
Should you ever wish to return, I've been reliable informed that your spot is open.
they had sex a lot, of course she was.
I really don't wish to return there, to be honest. It wasn't exactly a holiday, but I'm sure you know that by now. There's no reason for me to go back.
not this sherlock ok.
yes that's why it's past tense.
yeah but you ship it with me more than ANYONE. don't lie.
no way!!
liarrrr
[ Heartbroken, actually. She might be able to see it, but he's not showing it on purpose.
He's older. Not quite as cocky, or at least he doesn't quite believe in himself as he once did.
Yes, he's different in a lot of ways. ]
Which is interesting.
ugh /flops on
Maybe. But it doesn't change the fact that you don't know me.
[
and she would have to stupidly impress you all over again ugh.]no subject
