Where do I even begin? Oh right. The username. You're not nearly as cute as you think you are.
Now, let's discuss the way you talk to others about me and how you describe me.
Uncle Creeper? I suppose it's a step up from Broody McBrooderson. Though that does pretty accurately describes Derek so we can keep that.
Lastly, what kind of impression is this to give people about me? You said I am, and I quote, "kind of a sleazy psychopath with sass and charm". Are we trying to cripple me socially before I even have a chance to destroy my reputation on my own?

You, though, probably not.

It was an honest question. Why'd you take the bite? Didn't you want more?

[ He's not being defensive, he's just telling a small truth. His loyalties fall with Derek, not you, and even then he's secure in the choices he made. Whatever he had thought the bite would give him doesn't matter anymore; the reasons he has are now different. ]
Tell me why you came back, I'll trade you an answer.

[Oh this was going to get fun, Peter could tell.]
Who chooses death when they have another option? Come on. Who? Do I seem the suicidal type?
What you're really asking is what devious plans do I have now that I'm back.

[ Listen to that cold plain truth.
If you believe the rumors about the future (
if you read deeply into the first page of the s3 script) then yes, he already did that. He went as far as he thought he could go for his own father, because Derek did tell him about the Bite, and the risks, and that if he fought the wolf before it took then he's pretty much a dead man walking. He did it anyway, and it's been a pretty stupid thing to do when you're sixteen and all the cards aren't laid out in front of you.
Then again, Isaac's never been one for smarts and foundation. He's always been more of faith. ]
I'm nowhere near as smart as Lydia or the others are, we both know that. If you don't wanna tell me, man, it's no big deal. I can just say I asked and you never answered.
What's in it for Derek?

As for smarts, Lydia is a special case all her own. Certainly well outside of your league.
I am telling you as much as you need to know. You're not my pack, your his. Why would I tell you anything I have planned?
no subject
And yeah, I'm his pack. What's your point? You're the one who wants to be in his pack for your reasons. Why would you tell him anything? You're one with the suspect motivations, man, not me.
