That doesn't make them worthless. The world doesn't need every magician aiming for the top-- it needs minor ones, too, and those who're more interested in-- in healing and taking care of the world and teaching and lots of other things.

Because of the way Aladdin reacted. [ Completely deadpan. He wants that to be a one time thing, thanks, and so far it has been. It's still kind of .. offputting for the meeting of one of the first people you respect in the Academy reacting like that. ]

You get used to his...unguarded nature, after a bit.

He is an amazing magician past that, and we are in similar situations.

For that I can overlook our first meeting. After all, he was not the only one who behaved badly.
