They did horrible things, because they lost me... I can't say I approve of what he did, but I don't want him to think that he's responsible for my death like that. I would do it all over again if it meant he'd be okay...

Souta convinced a group of us, myself included, to try and prove ourselves by getting supplies for our school. At... at the time, we were under a quarantine lockdown, so... I came along to try and help.

It's another term entirely. Voids are... how do I explain? A person's heart taken form... Voids can be used for many things, like for fighting or more mundane uses. For example, mine is a bandage that can be used to heal physical injuries... or fix broken objects.

Of course, if that person's Void is destroyed, they die... that's what happened to me.

So in other words, it's like your soul.

You'll still have your body but...I guess there's no point when your Void is destroyed.

But is it possible to live without on in the your world?

It's never been tested so we don't know what will happen. But it would be great if they could.

The only way that you could live without one is if you weren't infected, now that I think of it...

I... think that the ones who have Voids in the first place are those who are infected with a certain virus. The Apocalypse Virus, is what it's called back home...

Yeah... it's a virus that exists back home. It's the result of a meteorite crash that occurred a while back in Japan... whoever gets infected by it crystallizes.

It... also warps their mind and soul, driving them to insanity... it's really horrible...

I know they've been trying to find a cure for it for a while now, though.
