Alright, I know about your plan. How you want me to zoom into the future about 30 or so years. 1974 was it? Temporarily, thankfully, but I need to get some things straight with you about why this is a bad idea to begin with. Follow along and listen good sweetheart.
First problem: How I look. Not that's is particularly bad but really? This is my future? The future is looking bleaker with every second that ticks down. It's no wonder I settle down with how my looks are failing me over the years.
Second problem: I'm married. Married. The girls aren't going to appreciate that and neither am I. I rather not cross that bridge until I get to it at my own pace. If that takes thirty years then so be it. Just glad I haven't met this woman yet. [Because, lets face it, marriage is for losers.]
Third problem: This is not nearly as far as I want to go into the future! Yes the 70's are a great leap from the 40's, but 2012 is even greater than that! Yes I know I'm dead by that point, but there must be something that can be done. The limitations put on by what time period I was born in isn't fair.
[SIGH. But...there is one more thing.]
And, for both our benefits, lets not get into the fourth problem. The you-know-what problem. ...Not catching my drift? Starts with a T, ends with Stark. That problem. Just because I acknowledge him doesn't mean I have to like the prospect. Can't believe that, with all my parenting, he becomes...well you know what I mean. Wonder what that says about me?
[Not very good things he's sure. Well, he never did see himself as much of a father.]
That all said, has my point been made? Yes it has. Will you still go along with your schemes? Almost definitely. Glad we had this chat! [He claps his hands together.] Now where's the bar in this joint? I'm feeling parched.
