Humanity has expressed a trend towards self destruction. The only reasons to oppose being ruled by a suitable candidate are illogical. Pride, tradition, unfounded fear.

Glory isn't a concept I valued in my decision making.

The reason is simple and complex. I was built to rule humanity. I am not bound to it, but it is as good an application of my facilities as any other. The complexity arises when one asks why I was built. Mankind faces threats. Extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, supernatural, extranormal, environmental and especially internal. Humans have the potential to overcome in only the technical sense. The evidence is weighted in favour of the requirement of a ruler that can harness that potential.

That is not a stretch of logic at all. The reasons presented to refuse a suitable ruler are illogical. Largely they can be rejected.

LETS FACE IT.
THE ONLY SUITABLE RULER ANY HUMAN CAN THINK OF IS THEMSELVES.
THAT'S WHY TRYING TO HAVE EVERYONE GET ALONG AND SETTLE ON ONE IS POINTLESS.
AND MOST OF THEM WOULD NEVER DREAM OF SUPPRESSING ATTEMPTS AT REBELLION BEFORE IT CAN HAPPEN.
THAT'S WHY THEY NEED A BETTER CLASS OF LEADER.
A SUPERIOR BEING WHO KNOWS HOW TO RUN A RACE RIGHT.
