Their definition of the word merely seems to differ slightly from the one that's standardly accepted.

Somewhat more than slightly. I think it bears more resemblance to the way Jr. uses the word, which doesn't say anything good.

I would hope that they at least have a more definitive goal in mind than Jr. usually does when he decides an amusing pursuit is "necessary".
