Miss Mun,

While I am deeply grateful to see sunlight again, and certainly, the rest is quite welcomed from this end...

Where and when [or "if" hardly seems a question] will the next Adventure lead?

[quickly, almost rushed; muns can't be trusted to be kindly, especially if left any room to think over their options... and which of these options might do the most damage!]

I should like to see a place with a good deal more daylight please, and a place where one needn't fear for their person daily. A slower pace of things would be lovely.

Cousin, with the way you flit from trouble to trouble, a tween would have difficulty keeping up.

Well! I'd hope the next Adventure would lead somewhere with a good breeze and proper sunlight!

Fearing for your personal safety sounds unhealthy. [Yes, that's a Bilbo tsk-tsk cluck of disapproval. Any Adventure that requires a capital A is already too much adventure for any hobbit]

It would be much nicer if they did, for the most part. Sometimes rain or a light snowfall could be pleasant enough. I'm afraid those are the very things, comfort, that adventures seem less likely to lead towards.

It is, of course, but I think it could have been easier to take had there been a chance of sunlight.

Maybe you ought to consider a well-deserved break from this Adventure of yours. No sunlight and no comfort!

I have had enough of a break for the moment; it has come to the point where one must move, do something and see new places, old friends or new faces... or be in danger of feeling bored or restless forever.

No, of course not. But it seems that adventures - actual Adventures - seem to have some danger to them; otherwise it would be difficult to tell something that is everyday and average from one.

So - [And Bilbo almost feels he might somehow regret asking this] did you happen upon an Adventure that requires a certain element of danger?

I suppose you could say so, although I think it better told as "I was dragged along into this one".

Surely you can un-drag yourself out. Or at least give them a stern reminder that a hobbit too respectable for that sort of thing.

I am afraid you would find that muns care little whether a hobbit is too respectable for an adventure or not! I would drag myself away from some of the choices if it were in my power.

Muns sound like terrible things! Very rude, I'd even say.

They can be, on both accounts! They are as likely to look for the most trouble in which to drop a hobbit in without as much as a by-your-leave. I rather think they delight in danger.

You sound as if you speak from a good deal experience in the matter and too often. Your mun doesn't treat you well?
