I don't know what fantasy you are living in right now, but where I'm from, I'm still a secretary, you just came in, and anyone that wants to see animals sing and dance in front of a camera are in a very small minority.

If the entertainment industry is anything like mah mun's head, you'll never really know your talent til you've stepped onto the stage and read some lines, or in my case plucked a few strings. [those were heartstrings, Dale.. TTnTT]

The world'll never know your talent until you show em, and you'll never know unless you give yourself the chance to.

You forget one thing, at least where I'm from, people own the entertainment industry. They're the ones that pull the strings and make you read your lines, dance to some showtune, and whatever else.

[Right on cue, he retrieved a top hat and a rodent-sized bass guitar from thin air.] You can be whoever you wanna be. [As he said so, he provided somewhat of a bassline. What tune he played was all up to Sawyer's imagination, but it did show promise of a catchy beat.]

[It didn't seem possible, but could she believe her ears? Dale had begun to play the opening notes to her song, that familiar but not yet sung tune 'Tell me Lies'. Something she could dance to, something she could sing to if she let herself do so. It seemed to be affecting Dale more deeply than her at this point, as he played very well technically and seemed to be focused on pouring over his work on the bass guitar. It harkened back to some distant memory of a beautiful munk at a nightclub, and his bass playing had warranted a few stints at that same club in the days to follow with his brother Chip at the piano.]
