[They never had the opportunity to talk, but he only remembers hearing her speak that one time, to say Killer’s name in the Gate. She had seemed distressed, and then enraged by his death. For all the guilt Johnny felt toward her transformation into Lady, his resolve was firm in stopping her from destroying the world. And Killer… well, the man had stabbed him, so naturally, Johnny didn’t have any particularly happy feelings for him.

He is a lot more Malice-aware, now that his Awaker persona has come out. He can sense Malice rising in Lady as she looks at him. Is she going to attack him? He’d better be prepared, just in case. Johnny retrieves his knife and activates the familiar red blade of light. He doesn't want to fight her, but he won't stand there and get killed either.]
