Muse on a rampage
Ma'am, I have to say this isn't the best idea you've ever had. I know I don't speak for just myself, but all those in this... what do you call it? head...space? Hm. Very well then, headspace it is.
But do you really think it's for the good of everyone that you simply decide on a time during their lives (very rarely at a very pleasant time, might I add!) and send them to who knows where? Take me for a prime example. Not only is it not fair to myself for you to take me from right after Steve... the Captain, I mean... crashes so foolishly - no, no, I meant heroically, he saved us all! But you don't even plan to tell me anything? Anything at all?
You should treat others far better than you have been. We might cooperate more. Or blow your head off, whichever works most succinctly.
Yours (for the moment),
Peggy Carter

We try to keep him in one piece.
Though I wouldn't mind knowing who came up with that name for the poor man.

[A small sound of amusement, then a delicate, proper cough.]
The name signifies his importance to the people and the war. He's...well. I'm rather surprised you haven't heard about him, but perhaps you've been rather distracted yourself.

I wouldn't say we ever precisely had a team in our war.
Which, from the sounds of it, is a very different one than yours.

Hm... I'm starting to get that impression as well. Who was your opponent?

You never try to be heroic, it just happens. So I'm just Agent Carter now? Really.
[And now she's trying not to cry.]

You should be sorry. You stood me up. [But that's not why she's upset, she's just trying to distract herself.]
I... Yes. Of course. How stupid of me. Call me Peggy... Please?

I tried to be there, Peggy. [His voice cracks slightly before it steadies.] You were the first thing I thought of when I woke up.
no subject
That's... neither here nor there, now, is it?
[Doesn't pull away, though she absently smooths his shirt, focusing on trying to pat out the wrinkles her tight grip had made.]
Well. When did you wake up? I think I should have heard about that sooner...

I - um - [He should have called her as soon as he'd found out she was alive, but after weeks of thinking she was gone, it'd been a shock that he'd had trouble getting over. And then everything with Loki...He'd been too busy saving the world to consider calling. But none of that makes it easier to tell her that almost seventy years passed. There's no way to lessen the blow so he doesn't try.] I woke up in 2012.

T-that's - How?
She's lovely <3
Thank you! I'm having a blast. ^_^
Do you have any plans for her?
I have one place definitely in mind, but am open for a second.
I've been thinking of putting him in a small game but no real plans. Where were you looking?
Aah. She'll at least go to Citadel, which is getting a Steve already. ^^
I was considering Citadel then they got the reserve. Is there somewhere else?
Not at the moment. Any others sound interesting to you?

There's a lot I want to know. [Like she's trying not to break down completely. Good job.]

Bucky tried to teach me how to hold a woman when dancing and this is as far as we got before we started teasing and laughing too hard to finish the dance lesson.

Sargent Barnes. Well, I'm sure he did the best he could.
[Her free hand creeps up to settle on Steve's rather nicely muscled bicep, finishing the proper dance hold.]

This would be easier if we had music.

[Steve follows the steps, doing his best not to step on Peggy's feet.]
Imagine the music in your mind.

Muns usually don't listen to being scolded, miss. In fact, it sometimes makes them worse.
