I don't get it, why do you need to think of a new username for me? I mean, if you want to do something like "KidAwesome" then go for it. But I kinda like this one 'cause it's a nod to me carrying on the whole Flash Legacy and all.

It has a certain ring to it. Anyway, we were talking about dates and how our date is going to be a fun one and not a boring one.

Guess not. It's kind of cute, anyway.

Just kind of? [Grins.] You know what? I'll take it. [Because "kind of" from Artemis is a high compliment.]

[She's clearly pleased.]

So do I get any hints about what we're going to do?

We could get ready now and you'll find out in an hour or so.

Who says I'm not ready now?

You might be ready to go but I need to head home and get ready. [May or may not have a nice outfit picked out and waiting for him back home.]

... You need an hour to get ready?

[Oh this is just too funny.]

What? No, no, I don't. I just...you know, don't wanna speed to where we're going. It'll mess up my clothes and hair.

That's unexpectedly adorable. And kind of sweet. Where should I meet you?

[Beams at her and his cheeks might take on a shade of red.]

I'll, uh, meet you at the miniature golf course in Gotham.

Sure thing, Wallace.

[He might find something a little strange when he shows up, though. She's there, waiting for him, but she took the time to dress up too. No dress, but she'd found a nice pair of pants and a shirt that wasn't a turtleneck to wear.

The biggest difference? Her hair is down. She's swept the sides back from her face so it won't be too in the way, but her bangs are still lose and framing her face. She figures hey, if he was going to take the time to look nice, she might as well match.]

[flashesforward]

Mom, c'mon! [His mother insisted on dropping him off and she was fussing with his hair as he attempts to get out of the car.]

Don't worry, I won't be late. I'll make sure she gets home safely. [Like she even needs to be escorted.]

See ya! [His mom gives him "the look" and he sighs, back tracking to her. Gives her a tight hug and smiles at her. Once she lets go of him, he quickly tracks down Artemis.]

Hey! [He's wearing a nice long sleeved button up shirt and a pair of khaki pants. His hair looks like what it would look like if he didn't speed around all the time.] Wow, you look great.

[totallyhisniece]

You too.

[Okay so maybe she's staring a little bit, but he looks good in dress clothes. Maybe he's not as ripped as Conner or Kaldur, but Wally still has a nice body and it's incredibly easy to appreciate when he's in those clothes. After a moment, she snaps herself out of it and grins at him.]

So. Mini-golf is your idea of what gets the girls going, huh?

[flashesforward]

[His shoulders straighten and his chest puffs out a little when he notices her checking him out. Knowing the people they hang out with, having her give him this kind of attention is a solid confidence booster.]

I thought about the whole "dinner and a movie" thing but you can't do much talking during a movie. Plus, we can make a wager to make things more interesting.

[Normally, she'd make a joke about him not talking being a good thing. Now, though, they're on a date. She's teased him already, a few times, and now it's time to play nice. It's not hard when he's been acting so... sweet.]

Maybe next time then, movies have their advantages.
