On a conversation re: towerofanimus.
*"Yeah, horror isn't for everyone. Unfortunately I seem to be the only ES mun who doesn't mind it."
Enoch doesn't notice he's started to shiver.*
Good. Good. I wouldn't wish this on any of them! Stop bringing up...that... Those incidents. Isn't it enough I must make an example of them to keep the others from meeting the same fate?
Even if I...miss my friends. *A shake of his head and his fists clench. No, Enoch, there's no room for selfishness!*

Not like he can help it though- He's worried and from what he's heard, his concern is more than justified.
And he might just be feeling a little helpless too.
This is one instance where his hands are pretty much tied considering his mun won't let him go to that place- Even if he wants to, despite being told of all the hardships.]

Armaros...?

And then missing his friends too. He definitely heard that part.
So this worried, heartbroken look is all he has to offer right now, because that is honestly how he feels. There's a low noise from him, as he tries to communicate that he's... Worried. And that he doesn't like the idea of Enoch being stuck in such a horrible place.]

He meets Armaros's eyes, not sure what to do. It isn't like their first meeting where he can say he'd be all right. His own mundane had quite easily thwarted that already. So what settles into his expression is mirroring heartache, conflicted.
Nothing he can say or do will rectify this. So all he can do is take step after heavy step forward to rest a hand on Armaros's shoulder.*

The hand upon his shoulder does nothing to alleviate the heaviness in his heart, though Enoch's kindness is as apparent as ever. But his look of heartache... It's so very painful to see and even more painful in that he knows there's nothing he can do for him right now.
He has no smile to offer the other, he's unable to even force it, but he does reach up to rest a hand over Enoch's. That much, at least, he can still do.]

Some combination of the situation and seeing his friend this worried on his behalf...there's a breath choked short and an attempt to not make another sound. Armaros is already worried!*
no subject
There's a low noise from him again, because he did indeed hear that.
He wishes he could communicate that he doesn't think Enoch selfish at all, for wishing to have friends with him, because he definitely should not be alone, in a place like that... The horribleness of that place. No, he does not like Enoch being there at all, and being there alone on top of that...
This...
He just can't help it, when he suddenly sobs. Crying...
It's hardly helpful, but he can't help it. Tears are running down his face before long, and there's nothing he can do to stop them.]
no subject
Armaros...
*Another choked, damp breath before he gives out too, hugging Armaros with his free arm as he tries to keep back the tears of his own. It's to no avail, he just can't control them. So he weeps silently, his head down again.*
no subject
He hugs Enoch in return, hoping that, at least, is comforting, as he seems to be completely unable to support him and comfort him in any other way, even with as much as he might wish to.
He's maybe a bit cross with his mundane, for not letting him go to that place and be at the scribe's side as he wishes to be. For Enoch to be the example of what should not happen to others... It's so unfair, for such a good man to have to suffer, for his friend to have to suffer, and if he could take his place, he would do so gladly.
But as it is...
Is there truly nothing he can do besides weep?]
no subject
...what can he do but hold Armaros and cry with him?*

I know that, silly. But your friends would want you to be happy with other people, wouldn't they?

[She brushes a strand of hair behind his ear, fingers lingering on his cheek just a split second longer than necessary.]
Just have some fun.
no subject
You're going to the tower eventually, aren't you? You'll find for yourself "fun" is hard to come by there.
no subject
No way! I'm a pro at finding fun things to do! I'm sure we could find something to do, together.

[She giggles, leaning in slightly, showing off a window of incredible cleavage.]
Do you like it?
no subject
But this is a very human issue, not one that evokes any particularly strong dislike. After all, Enoch knows attraction can make people do some poorly-thought things, after all, and it's far from the first time someone's been attracted to him.*
...To be honest, I do. But are you certain this is the right place to be so... *What's a good word?* ...flirtatious?
