[ She's quiet, for once, not needing to announce her presence like she normally might. Who needs words when all she needs to push down the worry plaguing her is to let her arms envelop Isaac from behind. Even if he is impossibly tall and she only reaches about ye high to his shoulders.

He doesn't know how the future plays out beyond this, beyond the fact that his heart will stop at least once and he'll need a shock to get back, and that he needs to be saved again. He doesn't know if he's gonna go down willing, if he's going to be the same person he was when she and Boyd left, or if he's changed and he deserves this for screwing something up pretty bad.
But he knows he'd have wanted to have all of them back. Even for a bit longer. So he turns in the circle of her arms, presses his cheek against her hair, catches her waist loosely with an arm. ]
