[That's... a question he wasn't prepared for. He thinks about that question...]
Well... it depends, really. It's like moving from home. On one hand, you have to be prepared to not see the people you've made bonds with for quite some time. Sometimes it's months, maybe even years. You're kind of forced into settling in and adjusting to a new home, and it'll feel tough.
But, there's always a chance of an old friend moving with you. There's the opportunity to meet new friends, experience new things, find out more about the world and the universe as a whole. In my case, I find out what it's like to travel from planet to planet, picking up on different cultures getting a good feel for how people in other worlds, other Earths act.
( her expression may look a tiny bit bored, but she's definitely showing some interest to what he says. closely, shizuku listens to his explanation as she tries to visualize herself in his place. to be in a completely different setting than this quiet head space. it sounds troublesome in a way; having to adapt to somewhere unknown. yet... she misses the background noise. they were comforting to her. )
( if she were to go to a different place, she'd be there by herself. it'd be like before her friends and haru came along. it's definitely something she wouldn't want to go back to. but then again, an opportunity to make new friends. )
[He wasn't positive that he had actually made it sound pleasing. In fact, if someone had offered him that same position before, he would have stared incredulously at that person and asked if they had escaped from the local asylum. What a difference a few years makes...]
It can be. Actually, no. It definitely is entertaining.
That's fine. I think both of us-- I mean, your mun and I might agree that you'd be too similar to a friend of mine. Still, wherever you go, you might or might not run into someone from my side.
