Well, I dunno about the VR room, but in Luceti, yeah, you can get hurt in the Battle Dome. But the simulation automatically switches off if you're on the verge of dying or something, and there's a clinic in the dome that people can go to afterwards to get fixed up.

We didn't have food in the simulation. Plus, Mr. Highwind told me that dragons need to be aggressive, so that's why they can respect anyone who can fight them and win.
