Character is a Breton Champion of Cyrodiil. Thoughts on Skyrim.

Yes, I am quite sure that I'm not a Daedric prince. Does it really seem the kind of thing that would have slipped my notice? Mad gods say mad things, you would do well to pay them as much mind as they make sense.

[She says, making little mention of how completely forgetting about the Isles and being the madgod would be entirely in line with anyone's expectations of Sheogorath. The mun isn't saying for sure whether any of it actually happened for her.]

...I do wish the fate of the Blades was as untrue. Of the Empire. Of all of Tamriel, even. It's all certainly just as difficult to believe.

[...Daedric prince, you say.]

Which one?

[His experience with the Madgod indicates that 'doing as you're told, but creatively' is the best strategy for handling Sheogorath. But either way...]

That's ridiculous. Why would the Madgod want to be you when he could be other, entertaining, interesting people?

[She has a point.]

Or perhaps he is you and it's a punishment from one of his enemies.

[Not that he'd concede that she has a point.]

Except for when they do.

Suit yourself. [shrug] I took his death threats very seriously.

As long as you're making that argument, it could apply to every Prince.

What fate? What are you talking about?

Yes, the less said about Sheogorath, the better, in my opinion... [Yeah, she's still a little sore about getting roped into that mess. At least he didn't have her try and kill an innocent person, though.]

It is indeed a terrible fate - for everyone, in one way or another.

I have had the good fortune to only stumble upon the more benign ones in my travels, it seems. They're such forceful beings, though - expecting us to jump on command.

The high elves - it's all their doing.

Aye, if I can. I tend to avoid them, but sometimes fate has other ideas. Perhaps it's some sort of test put upon me by the Nine, to test my mettle as Dragonborn, and how I fare when tempted by things. [Or, the result of the mun wanting a shiny Daedric toy to hit things with - though the mun does regret what went down with Molag Bal. His mace is so nice, though...]

You have a point. Titus Mede II - he's the one who caved to the Thalmor - though if they had not started their crusade, it likely would not have come to this.

[Or perhaps a 'regret serving Daedra in general' club, though that might wind up being pretty big...]

Of course not - and I'm not going to let any of those damned Thalmor tell me otherwise. [She chuckles and grins.] Besides, if I didn't, the Nords would probably do worse to me than the Thalmor would.

Well - he's the Emperor now. Not a Septim, but the officially recognized emperor, for better or worse. So far, it's only been worse.
