That's right. You're Liquid before Shadow Moses. I guess... I can't blame you for what he did. [Hal had already thought about this scenario in his head. Was it right to blame someone for something they hadn't done? In most cases, he deemed the answer no.] It's not extra. It's just the amount it's supposed to be. B-But I'm doing what I can to make up for my mistakes. It's the least I can do. I'm the one that brought that monster into the world so it's my responsibility to try to correct the damage it's done. The guilt is still there and I don't know if it'll ever go away, but it doesn't stop me from helping those who were negatively affected by it. It never has.
