Can't catch a break

This isn't fair. You said we could go somewhere nice, somewhere things could be better. Like one of those places where I could have a family...

[He trails off for a moment, temporarily lost in thought. Now, that sounds more like something he'd enjoy.]

I know it wouldn't be the same as a real family. But it has to be better than that tower! It sounds awful. I won't even have Berserker there. What am I supposed to do?

I only--I want to finish what I started, that's all.

Those content to live a 'normal' life have nothing to drive them. No worthy goals.

That may be true, but ordinary people do not make the world move.

Then you should have taken it.

Is that why you wanted the Grail? To wish for a normal life?

[Oh, there's some barely contained rage in her eyes. At least it's not directed at Kariya for once.]

That man will never let her go. You are a fool to believe he will.

And you trust that man to keep his word?

[Saber makes a disgusted sound in the back of her throat.]

Zouken Matou does not choose which masters fight in the War - the Holy Grail does.

Did it not occur to you to simply take the girl?

Strong allies compensate for that.
