I fail to understand why my "inevitable" dis-assembly at the hands of Mr. Lensherr would be a source of this much amusement to you.

You've been very intent on sending me to the Barge since viewing my canon in hopes that I will come to terms with some of my [And he doesn't quite sound amused, but there's something there in his tone that suggests something potentially similar to it.] quirks. This encounter seems like it would be detrimental to any sort of progress I would be making.

I have been programmed to understand human emotions, even though I do not experience them myself. It makes me easier to interact with my human counterparts, and that does include sarcasm.
