Well, it was a dozen faces ago if it ever happened at all--I hate Time Wars, they make you doubt your whole history. And I've been in at least one--again, doubting my history.

A parrot--? [ But what about the TARDIS is the bit going unsaid for however briefly it is Adric keeps his mouth shut about it. Or Tegan and Nyssa, what about them (if he assumes turning up out here qualifies him as having managed well enough in the meantime- simple enough, logic is logic)?

Which- well, all right, he does understand the general idea behind these 'games'; and the fact that they also possibly didn't bring the TARDIS along at all. But he is also less than fond of these baselines, so he doesn't see why they should have to be so very fixed as rules.

Could someone have damaged it so badly it can't travel, if it's there? ADRIC IS GENUINELY CONCERNED BY THIS POSSIBILITY. (he was so ready to test for his license. :'|)

What sort of world? What sort of mystery? It would have to be a very good one. The Doctor is a hard person to truly trap under bad circumstances, is there some kind of advanced technology keeping him in? How does the Doctor meet "a few" of himself? Too many questions. Officially huffing and shaking his head in the true lamentations of the wild Adric. ]

I don't understand. It sounds mad already.

Yes, a parrot. We had whole flocks of them, one summer, and he decided he took a shine to the TARDIS and flew right inside. Cheeky little thing, really. ... And I suppose that does prove that yes, you're right, it is quite mad.

[he doesn't sound too upset about that, though. madness is good Doctor fuel] I'm about to head off on a trip, though - you see, the mun here is going on one of those "hiatus" things, and didn't want to be so gauche as to simply "turn me into something" for the duration.

[oh Adric, he wishes you'd just go ahead and say what's on your mind. he knows it to be a brilliant one, after all ... and he's missed you terribly. though explaining some things might be difficult - for one, why he has a constellation in the world's night sky, shaped like his badge ... the broken badge he still carries in his pocket]

I've never heard being turned into something described as 'gauche' before. [ But then, he supposes it's not often he hears anything being described as gauche. What a ridiculous word.

Madness and flocks of parrots, indeed. ] A trip is always the better plan, if you ask me.
