on revelations and surprises;

It stings, doesn't it? Knowing that somewhere out there, in a different universe, you contend not just against Thor but a brother who is more kin to him than you will ever be. And it's insult to injury that Thor never knew until now, that he might choose this Odinson over you.

So it seems you're right, mortal woman - my feelings for the Bright One will always be constant and consistent throughout the realms.

What say you now?

Lord Loki. [This cleric is rather distrustful of mischief deities in general, and Loki in particular, but he nonetheless merits a respectful bow.]

Though I number not among your faithful, Lord Loki, I still have respect for the Divine. I am a cleric, true, but I am beholden to no specific deity now. I learned the folly of that lesson with Tiamat.

A small town known as Meadowglade, about four leagues inland from the port city of Frygg's Folly. I am told the ... planet may not be one you are familiar with.

They do not walk the land with us, no. But the gods do touch our world in ways that leave little doubt to their existence.

Their faithful are known generally as clerics, though the individual terms change from faith to faith. Clerics in turn are granted spells and powers related to the domains of their deity.
