Is the place on the blame not just? Was it not by your own hand that this has befallen you? Or would you blame a father that raised you as his own, or the brother that loved you despite all still?

If you answer those truthfully, then that will be that.

I blame a father who lied to me, a brother who by his own faults chose everyone else over me until I took his choices away for correcting that, and I blame myself for having allowed this foolishness to stand for as long as I did.

Would you have me beg? To be taken into their hands again at the price of what little pride I have left?

Maybe he should have left me to die instead. It certainly would have kept his pretty Asgard safe, wouldn't it?

I cannot possibly speak for my Lords, but I will say to you this: the Allfather has ever had reasons for keeping secrets. As he has kept my birthright from me was all but good intent. As for Thor, why would you want the very brother you insult and curse to ever chose you? I have only ever seen you push against him.

Thor is no longer looks for your return to Asgard with any jovial expression. Any day you return to Odin's halls is considered a bad omen. Think on this if you want to continue to twist your words and stew in your hatred.

[It's like no one listens. No one is listening because it's not about reconciliation, or acceptance, or any of these noble, kind things you and the rest of your ilk have been harping on from the moment this had begun. The Allfather has his reasons he hardly ever divulges, and yet no one questions the intent - who would stand up to that man and claim his intentions ill?

No one. Simply because he is Allfather, and so it is done as it is said, and no one is the wiser.

But let Loki speak, or act or move with intention - and what do people do? Suspect him, guard against him, preach "repenting" or "changing for the good" or a million other things, without even giving it a moment to consider the weight of what he's even saying. And why?

Because he is Loki, and so it is done as it is said, and no one is the wiser.

There was nothing wrong with Loki, in the beginning - and just as your lot would claim that he lie in the bed he's made on his own, Loki will repeat the words to you in turn; you made a villain out of him, if not by action then by omission. He knows what he's done, and he knows what you've done; did you know that he knows? Or does your hypocrisy know no bounds, for so long as you are the "good"?

Judging by your own standards hardly measures fairly, but that would be arguing in semantics as far as you're concerned. But villains do not simply rise from the earth fully formed - and evil shall with only evil be expelled.
