I have to say, ma'am, reports of your unkindness are greatly exaggerated. I think you're quite a charming young lady, no matter what my sister or sundry other associates might think about you. And your eyes look very nice this evening, you're right.

And I really have to say that it was quite thoughtful of you to pick me up. Now, d'you think you might put me down somewhere nice? I really don't care where- even that odd little Vegas town. Somewhere where... well, I don't have to think about the trees. I'd really like to avoid 'em, if I could.

Your thoughtfulness is appreciated, really. I'm sure our acquaintance will be long and mutually beneficial, aren't you?

Bloody trees. And I mean that both literally and figuratively, if you're a scholarly sort.
