Well in my world you're a work of fiction, a rather popular one in fact. Though I am from a version of England and wished for the same thing myself. Most people have it but because I had more power than most they intended to either turn myself and my friends into weapons or kill us.
Ahh. A work of fiction. I've hoarded many of those, as they are outlawed. Ironic that I, myself, would be included in one.
You are aware that by definition, a weapon is a tool used to kill others. I find that weapons are fully capable of being used to kill their wielders, as they are to kill those they are wielded against.
Exactly. I am not taking away of my responsibility in the matter nor show any of the others, but we had guns firing down on us and we were scared, we thought it might be the end of the line that we'd be taken away to get twisted experiments done to us.
So we decided to make a show of force. Which inadvertently fucked up the Earth.
I guess but I think the issue was people weren't ready for us. I'm not saying this for an ego thing but with the current way humans are we were gods among men power-wise.
Which lead to some issues to the scale of mythology now that I think about it.
You must remember the core message I tried to teach, Evey. There a difference between anarchy and chaos. Anarchy in its purest form can only be possible when government is not only no longer present, but no longer necessary. Without that second prerequisite, what you have is chaos.
It is somewhat of the same concept here. Without my mundane... I would be dead. A martyr I may have been, but I would not be so arrogant as to deny myself another breath of air simply to maintain that title.

And I guess you're right but it just... if they hadn't done it a lot of innocent people wouldn't of been hurt.

The saving of the lives of a few does not justify ending the lives of many.

It isn't as if I don't appreciate them... picking us up like this. I could never have spoken to you again, otherwise.
[Her gaze is serious. Strong.]
So, what's tangled about this web?

My mundane, of course. Though I cannot tell if he is the spider or the fly, with how many other muses he has strewn about this place.
