I don't know why I'm arguing with you, really, it does just as much good as arguing with Sirius or James.

Still, at least you aren't trying to send me anywhere again. I remember the last time you tried that. Making me wear a wolf mask wasn't exactly subtle, was it? I don't know how the rest of this lot up here put up with it.

Anyway, I've got quite enough on my plate without you interfering with my life, thanks. Please, just let me be, and go back to reading your books.

That does rather seem to be the consensus among the...others up here, yes, psychological trauma being a common theme.

Though I suppose it can't be worse than being in the middle of a war at home - at least she claims to like me, which is more than can be said for most of wizarding society.

The poor lad's head is horribly misshapen and completely unfortunate looking--I'd try to hide it between things, too, if I were him, but at least he doesn't require threats of setting fire to so-called literary classics to get him out of the sodding library.

You're lucky Madam Pince didn't overhear you and ban you from the Hogwarts library for life, she would have reacted even more poorly than I did. And just because you don't like the classics doesn't mean they aren't classic. When's the last time you read a book that was more than fifty years old? Not counting any sort of homework or research - though it's not as if you ever crack a book for that sort of thing anyway.

I think I would be crushed if the books ever started cheating on me with you, anyway. They're the one constant I can rely upon.

I only fancy my chances because I know she's preoccupied with everybody else - I'm nothing more than a passing whim, really. Except for that time she chucked me into a city where I had to wear a mask all day, and that was only for a little bit.
